    Abstract: There is disclosed a method for providing network slice analytics. The method comprises: obtaining, by a first network entity, input data from one or more data sources in the network; processing, by the first network entity, the input data to obtain output analytics; and providing the output analytics to one or more network analytics consumers. The input data may comprise information relating to one or more of: UE registrations in the network slice; PDU session establishments in the network slice; and resource utilisation in the network slice. The output analytics may comprise information relating to one or more of: UE load; PDU session load; and resource usage on a network slice.

    Abstract: A communication method and a system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT) is provided. The method includes receiving, from a second entity performing network function (NF), a first message for requesting observed service experience analytics, the first message including single-network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI) indicating a network slice, transmitting, to a third entity performing application function (AF) associated with the S-NSSAI, a second message for requesting service data associated with the observed service experience analytics, the second message including information on at least one application, receiving, from the third entity, the service data including at least one service experience for the at least one application, identifying the observed service experience analytics based on the service data, and transmitting, to the second entity, the observed service experience analytics.

    Abstract: A 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method for monitoring events in a network comprises: subscribing, by an Application Function (AF), to monitoring the events, wherein the AF supports one or more AIML-based services and/or operations, and the events relate to the performance of the AIML-based services and/or operations; in response to the subscribing, monitoring, by a User Plane Function (UPF), the events; and when an event is detected, reporting, by the UPF to a Network Exposure Function (NEF), the event. The monitoring events may comprise one or more of: monitoring session inactivity of a PDU session; monitoring traffic volume of a PDU session; monitoring PCF events; per-5QI monitoring; and monitoring of edge resources. The monitoring may comprise QoS monitoring and may be performed for multiple UEs.
