The electronic apparatus includes a display, a communication interface configured to communicate with a server, a user input interface configured to receive a user input, and a processor configured to: based on a user input requesting a purchase of the digital content via a logged-in first user account, receive information on purchasable digital content from the server; control the display to, based on the received information on the purchasable digital content, display a user interface (UI) indicating the information on the purchasable digital content and information on an external apparatus and a second user account of the external apparatus, which are capable of using the digital content, and based on the user input using the UI, transmit information on a digital content selected to be purchased and information on selected external apparatus and second user account to the server.

The display apparatus includes a display, a user interface, a memory configured to store information regarding an area of interest for each game type, a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) provided on one area of the display and configured to emit light in various colors, and a processor configured to, based on information related to a game type being selected through the user interface, identify an area of interest corresponding to the selected game type based on the information stored in the memory and control a light-emitting state of the plurality of LEDs based on red, green, and blue (RGB) grayscale data of a pixel corresponding to the identified area of interest in a game image provided through the display.

A display apparatus and a controlling method capable of enabling Near Field Communication (NFC) between the display apparatus and an external electronic device by embedding an NFC antenna inside the display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel comprising a plurality of pixels; a backlight unit disposed behind the liquid crystal panel and configured to supply light to the liquid crystal panel; a liquid crystal panel driver configured to apply a voltage to the liquid crystal panel; a Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna disposed behind the backlight unit; and a controller configured to, based on an NFC mode being selected, control the liquid crystal panel driver such that at least one pixel in a region corresponding to a position of the NFC antenna among the plurality of pixels displays a white object.
Abstract:
A method and a device for preventing access to an administrative privilege are provided. The method includes acquiring a flash memory identifier from a flash memory, starting kernel loading, decoding an encrypted administrative privilege granting code using the flash memory identifier, and completing booting when the decoding succeeds. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the code for accessing the administrative privilege is encrypted using the identifier of the flash memory so that the unique password code can be loaded for each device, thereby enhancing the system security.
