摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for allowing an automated assistant routine to be interrupted during performance of the routine. A routine can correspond to a set of actions to be performed at the direction of the automated assistant. When the routine is initialized and a user subsequently issues a command to interrupt the routine, the automated assistant can modify a status identifier for the routine. That status identifier can be stored at a database and allow other applications and/or devices that are operating to complete the routine to be put on notice that the user has requested the routine be interrupted. The database can be accessible to one or more devices and/or applications, such as third party applications, in order to provide a medium through which the devices and/or applications can check the statuses of various automated assistant routines.

The method begins with determining an amount of unallocated spectrum in a communications channel used by one or more devices attached to a node. Next, it is determined that the IoT device has requested an amount of spectrum from the node that is less than the amount of unallocated spectrum. At least a portion of the amount of unallocated spectrum is dynamically allocated to the IoT device.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for scheduling transmissions of multiple carriers from a single transmitting network node (10; 100) for multiple Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) cells, (50). The multiple carriers comprising a respective cell specific anchor carrier having NB-IoT sub-frames allocated for the transmission of mandatory information related to the functionality of the specific cell. The method comprises scheduling (S1) at least two cell specific anchor carriers using time interleaved transmissions that enables NB-IoT sub-frames belonging to different cell specific anchor carriers, and being allocated for the transmission of the mandatory information, to be transmitted at non-overlapping times. Also disclosed is a network device configured to perform the method and a computer program which when executed schedules at least two cell specific anchor carriers using time interleaved transmissions that enables NB-IoT sub-frames belonging to different cell specific anchor carriers and being allocated for the transmission of the mandatory information to be transmitted at non-overlapping times.

摘要: An IoT/M2M service layer may be provided with the capability to protect user privacy. This functionality may allow the IoT/M2M service layer to anonymize user data, particularly when user data is shared with third party consumers. A privacy policy service may enable the IoT service layer system to generate anonymization (e.g., privacy) policies based on inputs such as legal obligations, subscriber privacy preferences, and an authorization level of the data consumer. Data anonymization policies may be output from the privacy policy service and may be sent to a data anonymization service, where raw data may be anonymized based on the one or more data anonymization policies. The output from the data anonymization service function may be a privatized (e.g., anonymized) version of data that may prevent the data consumer from discovering one or more identifying characteristics of a user.

摘要: A system and method of managing network resources is provided, in which a noise threshold for an access node is set, the access node being configured for communication in both of a first and a second communication mode; a noise parameter in a band of the first communication mode is monitored; a join request is received from a wireless device, the wireless device being configured for communication in both of the first and the second communication mode; the noise parameter is compared to the noise threshold; in response to a determination that the noise parameter does not exceed the noise threshold, the wireless device is assigned to the first communication mode; and in response to a determination that the noise parameter exceeds the noise threshold, the wireless device is assigned to the second communication mode.

One method comprises storing a collection of audio files and destination information identifying location information corresponding to plurality of different geographic locations where a plurality of edge devices are located and grammar information including language-specific rules, receiving messages from one or more of a plurality of requesting devices, the messages including a first type of message and a second type of message, generating an action list, determining an available time slot at a first geographic location of a first edge device when the first edge device is available to render an announcement, retrieving, using the grammar information associated with the second type of destination information included in the action list, an audio file from the collection of audio files stored; and transmitting the audio file and the action list to the first edge device to render an announcement.
