    Abstract: An electronic device may include at least one sensor, a communication circuit, and at least one processor operatively connected with the at least one sensor and the communication circuit. The at least one processor may be configured to: if change amount of movement of the electronic device obtained via the at least one sensor is within a threshold range, identify a wearing state of the electronic device via the at least one sensor, select a group which corresponds to the wearing state from among a plurality of groups including a first group including saturations of percutaneous oxygen (SpO2s) which may correspond to reference values based on photoplethysmogram (PPG) signals and a second group including other SpO2s which may correspond to the reference values, and obtain a first PPG signal via the at least one sensor, and obtain a first SpO2 using the selected group and a first reference value which is based on the first PPG signal. Other embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: An electronic device for controlling a frame rate and a method therefor are provided. The electronic device includes an image sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to sequentially obtain a first image, a second image, and a third image through the image sensor at a first time interval, generate a synthesized image by using the first image and the third image, identify a similarity between the second image and the synthesized image, sequentially obtain a fourth image, a fifth image, and a sixth image through the image sensor, at a second time interval long than the first time interval, based on the similarity being equal to or greater than a first threshold value, and sequentially obtain the fourth image, the fifth image, and the sixth image through the image sensor, at the first time interval, based on the similarity being less than a first threshold value.
