Abstract: A method of generating a finger image includes determining a quantity of electric charge to be removed from each of a plurality of detection circuits connected to a fingerprint sensor, based on an amplifier characteristic of each of the plurality of detection circuits; obtaining a second electrical quantity by removing the quantity of electric charge from a first electrical quantity that is input to each of the plurality of detection circuits; integrating the second electrical quantity to obtain an integrated value; and generating the fingerprint image based on comparison between the integrated value of the second electrical quantity and a predetermined threshold value.

Abstract: Provided are fingerprint/touch sensors and electronic devices including the same. A fingerprint/touch sensor includes: a touch pad; a touch sensing element including a plurality of first touch sensing lines extending in a row direction and a plurality of second touch sensing lines extending in a column direction, different from the row direction, and intersecting the first touch sensing lines, the touch sensing element forming a touch region on the touch pad; a fingerprint sensing element including a plurality of first fingerprint sensing lines extending in the row direction and a plurality of second fingerprint sensing lines extending in the column direction and intersecting the first fingerprint sensing lines, the fingerprint sensing element forming a fingerprint sensing region on the touch pad; a routing unit configured to route signals generated from the touch sensing element and the fingerprint sensing element; and an integrated circuit configured to sense a touch or a fingerprint by processing the signals transmitted from the routing unit.

The integrator circuit device further includes a counter configured to count a number of times an integration direction of the integrator is changed, and a controller configured to determine a final output voltage, based on the counted number of times the integration direction is changed and the output voltage.

Abstract: A depth sensor and a 3D camera include a macro pixel that provides an output signal when light is received and a programmable concurrent detector (PCD) circuit that compares an electric signal provided by the macro pixel with a number of concurrence (NC) and determines a necessity of providing the output signal of the macro pixel. In addition, the depth sensor and the 3D camera may include a controller that measures a dark count of the macro pixel, changes the number of concurrence (NC) of the macro pixel, based on the dark count, and controls noise of the macro pixel. In addition, the depth sensor and the 3D camera may control the noise of the macro pixel, based on an external light count which is a noise signal generated due to the external light.
