Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an electronic device and a method, whereby various elements having the same function can be efficiently controlled through a serial interface. The electronic device may include at least one control unit and an interface or a group of peripheral devices. The group of peripheral devices may include a plurality of peripheral devices (e.g., an input module, a sound output module, a display module, an audio module, a haptic module, a sensor module, a camera module, a power management module, and a communication module). The electronic device includes a plurality of peripheral devices and at least one processor connected to the plurality of peripheral devices via a serial interface, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to control the electronic device to continuously transmit, via the serial interface, a single command frame including a single serial control command, and data frames to be delivered to at least two peripheral devices among the plurality of peripheral devices.

Abstract: According to various embodiment, an electronic device may include: a housing, a first substrate disposed in an inner space of the housing and including a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a direction opposite to the first surface, and a first recess area at least partially corresponding to the first surface, a second substrate at least partially disposed in the first recess area of the first substrate, a third substrate at least partially disposed on one surface of the second substrate and including multiple antenna elements comprising at least one antenna, and a wireless communication circuit disposed on the second surface of the first substrate and electrically connected to the second substrate. The second substrate may include at least one matching circuit electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit corresponding to each of the multiple elements.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for inspecting whether an electronic device and a communication device included in the electronic device operate normally. A method for checking characteristics of a wireless communication device, according to various embodiments of the present invention, comprises the steps of: providing a wireless communication device at a first location, wherein the wireless communication device includes an antenna array and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the antenna array, and the wireless communication circuit is configured to transmit and receive signals having frequencies of 20 Ghz to 100 Ghz and includes a plurality of phase shifters configured to adjust phases of the signals in order to form directional beams together; providing a signal detecting device at a second location separated from the first location so as to detect a wireless signal from the wireless communication device; allowing the wireless communication device to transmit a first signal in a state in which all the phase shifters are configured to have a first delay; detecting a first power of the first signal by using the signal detecting device; allowing the wireless communication device to transmit a second signal in a state in which all the phase shifters are configured to have a second delay; and detecting a second power of the second signal by using the signal detecting device.
