Abstract: A power management integrated circuit (PMIC) includes voltage regulators, a conversion circuit, a measurement cycle controller, an oscillator, and a control logic. The voltage regulators generate regulator voltages. The conversion circuit converts analog signals indicating load currents of the voltage regulators to generate digital signals corresponding to the load currents. The measurement cycle controller operates in response to a first clock signal having a first frequency and generates an oscillation enable signal that is activated during a measurement period. The oscillator generates a second clock signal having a second frequency higher than the first frequency in response to the oscillation enable signal. The control logic operates in response to the second clock signal and generates power information, indicating power consumed by the load currents during the measurement period, using the digital signals.

Abstract: A method, performed by a server, of adjusting allocation of computing resources to a plurality of virtualized network functions (VNFs), and the server are provided. The method includes: for processing at least one task related to user equipments (UEs) connected to the server, identifying a plurality of VNFs related to the task; obtaining predicted traffic expected to be generated in the server by processing the task via the plurality of VNFs; obtaining, from at least one associated server, status information of computing resources in the at least one associated server; and adjusting allocation of computing resources to the plurality of VNFs based on the status information of the computing resources in the at least one associated server and the predicted traffic, wherein the at least one associated server includes another server that processes the task.

Abstract: Multiple power management integrated circuits (PMICs) may perform communication and power sequence operation coordination between the multiple PMICs through a communication interface connected to two signal lines using a dual pin interface. The multiple PMICs include a main PMIC configured to communicate with at least one application processor through a system interface and at least one sub-PMIC configured to communicate with the main PMIC through the communication interface. A first signal line uses a single bidirectional signaling scheme, and a power status signal PSTATUS is exchanged between the main PMIC and the at least one sub-PMIC through the first signal line. A second signal line uses a single unidirectional signaling scheme, and a power sequence control signal PIF is transmitted from the main PMIC to the at least one sub-PMIC through the second signal line.
