    Abstract: A method of displaying an illumination includes: based on illumination information, determining, using a least one processor, an illumination area to which an illumination assigned in a virtual space is projected; and visualizing, using the at least one processor, an illumination effect produced by the illumination with respect to a determined boundary area in the illumination area, the determined boundary area including a boundary and a portion of the determined illumination area that is less than all of the determined illumination area.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus with depth map generation. The method may include generating points for a point cloud by unprojecting multi-view depth maps, of plural views, into a corresponding three-dimensional (3D) space using respective camera parameters corresponding to each view of the multi-view depth maps, extracting feature embedding vectors corresponding to the generated points, generating a two-dimensional (2D) feature map of a set view based on the extracted feature embedding vectors, generating a residual depth map using a refinement network with respect to the 2D feature map, generating a new depth map based on the residual depth map and an initial depth map, of the set view, among the multi-view depth maps.

    Abstract: A method and device for adjusting a brightness of a display includes, determining current viewpoint brightness information of a current viewpoint region on the display corresponding to a user current viewed point or area of the display, determining previous brightness information of a previous viewpoint region of the display corresponding to a previously viewed point or area of the display, and controlling a displaying of a current image, including the current viewpoint region, with an adjusted brightness for a partial region of the display based on a comparison of the current viewpoint brightness information and the previous brightness information.

    Abstract: A supersampling method includes generating a current rendered image frame by performing jittered sampling on a three-dimensional (3D) scene, based on sub-pixels of low-resolution pixels for the current rendered image frame; generating a current warped image frame by warping a previous output image frame, based on a motion vector map corresponding to a difference between the current rendered image frame and a previous rendered image frame; generating a current shifted image frame by shifting pixels of the current warped image frame, based on a change in sampling positions based on the jittered sampling; and generating a current output image frame, based on the current rendered image frame and the current shifted image frame.
