Abstract:
A washing machine including a cabinet with an opening, a door that opens and closes to uncover and cover the opening, respectively, and a door locking device that selectively restrains a motion of the door when the door is closed. This configuration may be used to prevent the door from opening when, for example, the washing machine is in operation. In addition, a structure of a front portion of the opening may facilitate loading and unloading of laundry.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hearing device that may classify sound environment based on a life pattern, and categorize sound information using a sound environment category set based on the life pattern, and control an output of the sound information based on the classified sound environment.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus and method to create a model of a target organ of a patient. The apparatus and method generate a deformation matrix between at least two shape models of a target organ based on at least two three-dimensional (3D) images of the target organ. The apparatus and method also extract constraints about the target organ from a two-dimensional (2D) image of the target organ. The apparatus and method create the model of the target organ based on the constraints and the deformation matrix.
Abstract:
A washing machine including a tub, a spin basket rotatably mounted in the tub, a pulsator rotatably mounted in the spin basket and having a pulsator hub part extending downward from a center portion of the pulsator, a driving device to generate rotational force, a wash shaft to transmit the rotational force generated from the driving device to the pulsator, and a buoyancy clutch upwardly and downwardly movably mounted to the pulsator hub part and configured to move up and down by buoyancy. The buoyancy clutch is configured to rotate together with the pulsator. When the buoyancy clutch moves down, the spin basket is engaged with the buoyancy clutch and receives the rotational force.
Abstract:
A hearing device, an acoustic apparatus and a sound processing method thereof are provided. The method includes detecting audio signals, determining whether the audio signals include a voice signal of a user, and controlling amplification of the audio signals according to a result of the determination.
Abstract:
A washing machine including: a cabinet; a tub mounted inside the cabinet to receive washing water; a rotating drum mounted inside the tub to load laundry therein; and an injection unit to inject washing water inside of the rotating drum. The injection unit includes: a plurality of nozzles spaced away from each other to inject washing water inside of the rotating drum at different positions; and a connector configured to include a plurality of passages so that a flow path of washing water diverges into the plurality of nozzles. Washing water may be injected by the spaced nozzles over a wide area inside the drum.

Abstract:
A hearing device and a method for fitting the hearing device are provided. The method for fitting a monaural hearing device involve obtaining audiograms of both ears, and adjusting an amplification gain based on the audiograms of both ears, in which the audiograms comprise an audiogram of a first ear for wearing the monaural hearing device and an audiogram of a second ear not wearing the monaural hearing device.
