摘要: The present disclosure relates to a sensor network, Machine Type Communication (MTC), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, and technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the above technologies, such as a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car, a connected car, healthcare, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A method and an apparatus for controlling aperiodic traffic in an electronic device are provided. The method includes determining a delay allowed time for first traffic associated with the first application based on a prediction time of generation of second traffic associated with a second application and processing the first traffic associated with the first application based on the delay allowed time.

摘要: A method and apparatus for distribution control of traffic when providing a real-time application program service using Multipath Transport Control Protocol (MPTCP) in a heterogeneous wireless network environment are provided. The method of operating a transmitter in a heterogeneous wireless network includes determining a transmission rate of each of the subflows corresponding to each of the networks, and then transmitting traffic through those subflows. The transmission rate for each subflow is determined in consideration of (i) the transmission rate per unit time from the upper layer to the transport control protocol (TCP) layer and (ii) the bottleneck link capacity.

摘要: A Content Centric Network (CCN) communication method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes managing a Forwarding Information Base (FIB) indicating destinations to forward an interest message that requests content, which is performed by a CCN node, wherein the FIB includes at least one of a name prefix field indicating a content name, a face list field indicating destinations to forward an interest that requests content with the content name, and a congestion impact field indicating a relative time taken to receive the content from a corresponding destination in response to the interest message, receiving a first interest message, and forwarding the first interest message to at least one destination node determined by taking into account the congestion impact field.

The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the above technologies, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present disclosure may be used for intelligent services (smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail, security and safety-related service, and the like) on the basis of the technology. The present disclosure provides an appropriate service by reflecting the location information of a user within a store in real or substantially real time. A method of operating a server device according to an example embodiment comprises: receiving at least one of distance information and direction information of the terminal device; determining a location of the terminal device using at least one of the distance information and the direction information; determining a target product based on the location of the terminal device; and transmitting service information related to the target product to the terminal device.

摘要: An apparatus and a method for managing a Domain Name System (DNS) server address in a communication system are provided. In the method for operating a terminal, an attempt to change an address of a DNS server to a first address is detected. Whether the first address is included in an address list defined in advance is determined. When the first address is not included in the address list defined in advance, the change to the first address is stopped.
