Abstract: A wireless device may include a transceiver configured to communicate through a first link and a second link. The wireless device may be configured to indicate, through the transceiver, a number of spatial streams associated with the first link. The wireless device may include one or more radio frequency (RF) chains and may be configured to indicate a sharing capability of the one or more RF chains between the first and second links. The wireless device may be configured to perform a collision avoidance operation based on switching an RF chain from the first link to the second link. The wireless device may be configured use an RF chain on the first link based on the availability of the first link. A method of performing a sounding operation may include initiating a sounding sequence on a link based on a sounding feedback capability of a wireless device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing use of power of a wireless communication device configured to communicate over a plurality of radio links. A criterion is detected, and one of the plurality of radio links is selected as a selected radio link based on detecting the criterion. Operation of the selected radio link is switched from a first operating mode to a second operating mode, and operation of one or more remaining radio links of the plurality of radio links is disabled. In response to switching operation of the selected radio link to the second operating mode, the selected radio link oscillates between an awake state and an asleep state. Radio traffic information for the plurality of radio links is received, via the selected radio link, during the awake state.

Abstract: Methods and a devices are provided is for receiving simultaneous downlink transmissions at a mobile station (STA). Information regarding whether endings of simultaneous data transmissions to the mobile station are to be aligned is transmitted to an access point (AP). The simultaneous data transmissions are between the AP and the STA over a pair of channels. Reception begins of a first data transmission, from the AP, on a first channel of the pair of channels. Reception begins of a second data transmission, from the AP, on a second channel of the pair of channels. The second data transmission overlaps at least a portion of the first data transmission. Reception of the second data transmission ends upon an end of the first data transmission when the information indicates that the endings of simultaneous downlink data transmissions are to be aligned.
