Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a wireless charging coil disposed inside the housing, a fan disposed inside the housing and in proximity to the coil, a temperature sensor disposed inside the housing and in proximity to the coil, a wireless charging circuit having the coil and configured to transmit power wirelessly to an external device via the coil, and a control circuit electrically connected to the fan, the temperature sensor, and the wireless charging circuit. The control circuit may be configured to receive a signal from the external device, receive data related to a temperature of the coil from the temperature sensor, and control the fan at least partially on the basis of at least one of the signal and the data.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises a wireless power reception circuit and a processor, wherein the processor can be set so as to receive power transmitted from an external electronic device by using the wireless power reception circuit, detect a state related with the reception during the reception of the power, and disable at least a part of the wireless power reception circuit such that the external electronic device stops the transmission when the state satisfies a designated condition. Other examples are also possible.

Abstract: Wireless charging methods and systems are provided for detecting foreign material by measuring a Q-factor based on a predefined packet and a transmission sequence while a wireless charging transmission device transmits power. An electronic device includes a battery; a coil; a wireless charging reception circuit; a power management module configured to control a charging state of the battery using a voltage supplied from the wireless charging reception circuit; and a processor configured to receive power from a wireless charging transmission device through the coil, determine whether a predetermined condition is satisfied while the battery is charged using the received power, and transmit a foreign material detection request packet to the wireless charging transmission device in response to determining that the predetermined condition is satisfied.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a display, a power reception circuit, and a processor. Also, the processor may transmit acknowledge (ACK) data to the external electronic device in response to receiving the data on the one or more reasons to stop wireless charging, and display, through the display, at least one reason to stop wireless charging included in the data on the one or more reasons to stop wireless charging. Other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device comprising: a battery having a plurality of cells that are connected in series; a circuit electrically connected to the battery; and a conductive pattern electrically connected to the circuit, wherein the circuit is configured to: receive a first signal wirelessly from a first external device by using the conductive pattern, charge at least some of the plurality of cells in the battery by using a power of the first signal, generate a second signal by changing a first voltage, that is produced by at least two of the plurality of cells in the battery, into a second voltage that is lower than the first voltage, and wirelessly transmit the second signal to a second external device, the second signal being transmitted by using the conductive pattern.
