    摘要: With an ink-jet recording head comprising multiple nozzle rows, for discharging ink of different colors, arrayed in approximately a straight line in approximately the same direction as the transporting direction of a recording medium, the positioning spacing of the nozzle rows of each of the colors is set so as to be greater than the length of the nozzle rows for discharging ink of each of the colors. This prevents bleeding on the recording medium and mixing of colors on the recording head in cases of printing at high speeds with in-line type recording heads, in an arrangement with simple modifications.

    摘要: Three discharge port groups, each having a plurality of discharge ports, discharge inks of three primary colors to record swaths of the respective colors on a recording medium and repeat the discharging to complete a record. Joints of each of Y, M and C color swaths are spaced from joints of swaths of the other two colors by an equal distance, and the discharge port groups are offset from each other by 8n times of a discharge port pitch in a direction of feed of the recording medium. In a number of image buffers corresponding to the discharge ports, image data in one buffer is separated from image data in a different image buffer by an amount that is an integer multiply of one 8 bit byte.

    摘要: A liquid ejecting head includes a plurality of nozzles, each including an ejection outlet for ejecting a droplet, an ejection energy generating element, disposed at a position opposing the ejection outlet, for generating energy for ejecting a droplet, a pressure chamber provided with the ejection energy generating element and fluidly communicating with the ejection outlet, and a supply passage for supplying the liquid to the pressure chamber. The nozzles include a first nozzle and a second nozzle, which are connected with respective supply passages having lengths different from each other. The first nozzle and the second nozzle are disposed at one end portion with respect to a widthwise direction of an elongated supply chamber for supplying the liquid to the first nozzle. The supply passage for the first nozzle extends in a direction perpendicular to a direction of liquid ejection from the ejection outlet and fluidly communicates with the supply chamber, and wherein the supply passage for the second nozzle extends in a direction parallel with the direction of liquid ejection.
