Abstract: An audio communication device includes: a sound position determiner that determines sound localization positions for N audio signals in a virtual space having first and second walls; N sound localizers each performing sound localization processing to localize sound in the sound localization position determined by the sound position determiner, and outputting localized sound signals; an adder that sums the N localized sound signals, and outputs a summed localized sound signal. Each sound localizer performs the processing using: a first head-related transfer function (HRTF) assuming that a sound wave emitted from the sound localization position of the sound localizer determined by the sound position determiner directly reaches each ear of a hearer virtually present at the hearer position; and a second HRTF assuming that the sound wave emitted from the sound localization position reaches each ear of the hearer after being reflected by closer one of the first and second walls.

Abstract: A signal processing device includes one or more filter processors that perform sound localization processing of an input acoustic signal and generate output signals; a coefficient setter that sets, for the filter processors, a plurality of filter coefficients for use in the filter processors; an output data selector that selects, out of the output signals subjected to the sound localization processing by the filter processors, output signals to be output to a left speaker and a right speaker; a time measurer that monitors a time for switching the output signals; and a controller that causes the output data selector to select the output signals in accordance with the time for switching the output signals. The plurality of filter coefficients include filter coefficients generated under a plurality of hearing conditions.

Abstract: A signal processor that performs crosstalk cancellation on an audio signal that is input, in a distorted acoustic space where two speakers are placed, the two speakers including an X-side speaker and a Y-side speaker, where X denotes one of left and right, and Y denotes the other of left and right.
