Abstract:
Disclosed examples include ultrasonic lens cleaning systems and driver circuits to clean a lens using four or more transducer segments mechanically coupled to the lens, in which the driver circuit provides phase shifted oscillating signals to the transducer segments to generate a mechanical traveling wave rotating around the center axis of the lens to vibrate the lens for improved ultrasonic cleaning.
Abstract:
Disclosed examples include ultrasonic cleaning systems, driver integrated circuits and methods for cleaning a lens, in which an oscillating drive signal is provided to an ultrasonic transducer and the driver controls the frequency of the drive signal according to a current sense signal representing a drive current flowing in the transducer. The driver sweeps the drive signal frequency and compares the sensed current values with predetermined profiles corresponding to a clean lens and a lens with one or more known contaminants, and generates the drive signal at one or more frequencies corresponding to peaks or valleys of the sensed current values or predetermined frequencies to promote cleaning of the lens.
Abstract:
A device is configured for identifying a direction of a sound. The device includes a controller comprising circuitry. The circuitry is configured to receive a first output from a first input device and a second output from a second input device. The circuitry is also configured to add a delay to the second output. The circuitry is also configured to compare the first output to the delayed second output in a plurality of directions to form a comparison. The circuitry is also configured to identify a number of null directions of the plurality of directions where a set of nulls exists based on the comparison.

A method of making a lens assembly includes mounting a first lens above a second lens and attaching a transducer to the first lens.
Abstract:
From at least a first microphone, first microphone signals are received that represent first sound waves. From at least a second microphone, second microphone signals are received that represent second sound waves. In response to the first microphone signals, first noise in the first sound waves is estimated, and first cancellation signals are output for causing a speaker array to generate first additional sound waves via at least a first acoustic beam for cancelling at least some of the first noise. In response to the second microphone signals, second noise in the second sound waves is estimated, and second cancellation signals are output for causing the speaker array to generate second additional sound waves via at least a second acoustic beam for cancelling at least some of the second noise.
