    摘要： A liquid droplet ejecting head includes: an ejector having a nozzle, a pressure chamber, and a drive element that applies pressure to a liquid inside the pressure chamber; and a controller that applies a drive waveform to the drive element. The controller vibrates a flow velocity of the liquid ejected from the nozzle in a first positive direction vibration mode for causing a leading end portion of the liquid droplet to be ejected from the nozzle toward the opposite side of the pressure chamber side; and a second positive direction vibration mode for adjusting the velocity of a trailing end portion of the liquid droplet. An interval between the first positive direction vibration mode and the second positive direction vibration mode is set so as to make the velocity of the trailing end portion of the columnar liquid droplet faster than the velocity of the leading end portion thereof.

    摘要： A printing system capable of properly selecting a printer driver without putting load on the user, and generating print data using the selected printer driver even when the operating apparatus cannot communicate directly with an information processing apparatus having a print data-generating function. The printing apparatus generates a list of printer drives notified from information processing apparatuses, and sends the list to the operating apparatus when requested. The operating system selects a printer driver from the list and sends information of the selection and image data to the printing apparatus. The printing apparatus sends the image data to an information processing apparatus provided with the selected printer driver. The information processing apparatus generates print data from the image data and sends the print data to the printing apparatus.

    摘要： An inkjet recording apparatus conducts image recording by ejecting ink and a reactive liquid that reacts with the ink onto a recording medium conveyed by an endless conveyor component. The inkjet recording apparatus includes: a dummy ejection controller that dummy-ejects one of the ink and the reactive liquid onto a first position on the endless conveyor component and dummy-ejects the other of the reactive liquid and the ink onto a second position on the endless conveyor component where the one of the ink and the reactive liquid is not adherent; and a cleaning device that cleans the ink and the reactive liquid on the endless conveyor component.
