    摘要: According to some embodiments, a method for use in a first spectrum access system (SAS) server of authorizing spectrum access comprises: receiving, from a second SAS, information about one or more priority access license (PAL) protection areas (PPAs) served by the second SAS; receiving a spectrum grant request on behalf of one of a first PPA or a first general authorized access (GAA) user; determining whether granting the spectrum grant request may interfere with a second PPA geographically proximate the one of the first PPA or the first GAA user, wherein the second PPA is served by the second SAS; and granting or denying the spectrum grant request based at least in part on the interference determination. The interference determination may comprise modeling the radio environment within the second PPA and surrounding areas based on the spectrum grant request to determine whether an aggregate interference level exceeds a threshold.

    摘要: A method and network node for selecting a most suitable gateway for a User Equipment (UE) located in a wireless communications network. The network includes the network node and at least two gateways configured to provide packet data network connectivity to the UE located within a served cell. The network node detects a presence of a local gateway among the gateways and obtains UE information including a type of the UE. The UE type is either a stationary/fixed type or a mobile type, and the UE type is determined based on UE mobility behavior in relation to a local gateway service area. The network node selects the detected local gateway or another gateway among the at least two gateways for providing packet data network connectivity to the UE based on the determined UE type.

The method further comprises sending, by the RAN control node (122, 124), the WLAN MAC address of the UE to the WLAN control node (112, 114) based on the identity of the WLAN control node, sending, by the RAN control node (122, 124), an instruction to the UE (100) to send a signal to the WLAN control node and sending, by the UE, a signal to the WLAN control node based on the identity of the WLAN control node in response to the received instruction. The method further comprises performing, by the WLAN control node, uplink, UL, signal quality measurements on the signal received from the UE, determining control information, by the RAN control node, regarding whether or not to grant access for the UE to the WLAN, the control information being based on the performed DL signal quality measurements, sending, by the RAN control node, the control information to the WLAN control node, and selectively granting access to the WLAN for the UE, by the WLAN control node, based on the received control information and the performed UL signal quality measurements.
