摘要: A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. A method implemented in a wireless device configured to communicate with a network node is provided. A first indication is received from the network node indicating a first restriction, where the first restriction is related to a maximum data rate computation for at least one carrier and is different from a legacy restriction. A second indication is transmitted to the network node indicating a plurality of capability parameters, where the plurality of capability parameters violates the legacy restriction and is in accordance with the first restriction. The network node is communicated with on the at least one carrier according to a maximum data rate determination associated with the indicated plurality of capability parameters.

摘要: A network node is arranged to operate in a cell of a cellular communication system. The network node comprises an interface towards the cellular communication system where the interface is arranged to receive paging information for an idle user equipment, UE, a paging handler arranged to determine a mode of power saving for the UE, and to determine timing for a wake-up signal based on the determined mode and the received paging information, and a transmitter arranged to transmit the wake-up signal at the determined timing. A method of the network node comprises receiving paging information for an idle user equipment, UE, from the cellular communication system, determining a mode of power saving for the UE, determining timing for a wake-up signal based on the determined mode and the received paging information, and transmitting the wake-up signal at the determined timing.

摘要: A method and network node for flexible indication of resources in LTE-M using bitmaps are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes indicating to the wireless device a set of reserved resources for machine communications in compatibility with a broadband radio access technology sharing resources in a time frame and frequency band that encompasses the set of reserved resources, the indicating using a two level bitmap operating in the time-domain, a first bitmap level of the two level bitmap indicating a first set of subframes containing reserved resources, and a second bitmap level of the two level bitmap indicating reserved symbols within an indicated subframe.

An indication (e.g., a one bit flag) in the MIB is provided, which indication is set to a particular value if the UE needs to read SIB1-BR, otherwise the indication is set to a different value indicating that the UE can skip reading SIB1-BR assuming other conditions are met (e.g., assuming that the UE has previously read SIB1-BR within a MIB indication time period).
