摘要: According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes transmitting, to a base station, a first transmission of a message, which includes user data and information to setup or resume a connection between the wireless device and the base station. DCI comprising an uplink grant indicating a plurality of transport block sizes is received from the base station. The DCI is interpreted based on previous information received in a message from the base station. One of the transport block sizes is selected for retransmission of the message. The message is retransmitted using the selected transport block size and includes either only the information to setup or resume the connection or the information to setup or resume the connection and user data. The message is retransmitted using the selected transport block size.

A method performed by a base station includes: signalling to a wireless device a measurement report triggering condition, the measurement reporting triggering condition being based on at least a location of the wireless device, the location of the wireless device being determined using GNSS location measurements; and receiving a measurement report from the wireless device when the measurement reporting triggering condition is satisfied.

One embodiment provides a method, performed by a target device, for enabling detection of a narrowband positioning reference signal, NPRS, location in a radio frame. The method includes: obtaining, from a location server, assistance data related to a neighbour cell in a reference and neighbour cell list. The assistance data includes timing offset information for the neighbour cell; determining a time of a NPRS subframe for the neighbour cell and/or NPRS sequence based on the timing offset information; measuring a positioning reference signal (PRS) based on the determined time; and reporting the measured PRS to the location server.
