摘要: A method performed by a wireless device. The method is for handling uplink transmission to a network node. The wireless device determines, in inactive state, whether a size of a buffer of data for uplink transmission obtained in inactive state is smaller than a threshold. The wireless device then sends, to the network node, at least a first transmission comprising a first subset of the data, and an explicit or implicit indication of a number of remaining transmissions that are needed to send the remaining data. The sending of the first transmission is based on a result of the determining and is in inactive state. The wireless device also sends the remaining transmissions in inactive or in connected state based on one or more further indications. The one or more further indications are received from the network node or configured.

摘要: A method performed by a wireless device. The wireless device sends an indication to a network node including a value corresponding to a size of a buffer of detected or expected to be had during inactive state at a time of one or more transmissions. The sending is performed with the proviso that the size of the buffer is smaller than a threshold. The wireless device receives a grant from the network node based on the indication, and then sends data to the network node during inactive state, according to the grant received. The sending of the data is performed with the proviso that the size of the buffer is smaller than the threshold. The sending of the indication is performed prior to the sending of one or more data packets comprising at least a part of the first data.

摘要: A network node transmits a scheduling configuration, over a Single Cell Multicast Control Channel, that indicates whether a single transport block or multiple transport blocks of a Single Cell Multicast Traffic Channel are scheduled. The network node may then transmit a transport block in accordance with the scheduling configuration. Correspondingly, a user equipment receives the scheduling configuration. The UE may then receive a transport block in accordance with the scheduling configuration.

摘要: A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises determining to use an extended random access preamble identifier, RAPID, for a random access procedure with a wireless device. The method further comprises transmitting a medium access control, MAC, protocol data unit, PDU. The MAC PDU comprises a header and one or more random access responses, RARs. Each RAR is associated with a corresponding subheader within the header of the MAC PDU. The random access procedure is associated with a first RAR of the one or more RARs and the extended RAPID for the random access procedure is indicated by a combination of one or more bits in the first RAR and one or more bits in the subheader that corresponds to the first RAR.

摘要: A method for a user equipment, a method for a network equipment, a user equipment and a network equipment is disclosed. The network equipment transmits a signal pertaining to if control information is present in a first time period while the user equipment determines if a signal pertaining to control information is present in a first time period. The network equipment transmits control information to a UE in accordance with the transmitted signal while the user equipment decides whether to attempt to decode the control information depending on the determination.

摘要: In a wireless communication network that implements the RRC Resume procedure, an eNB (11) sends to a radio network device (30), which was previously connected and has been given a Resume ID, a paging message or Random Access Response message including an RRC Resume directive. The RRC Resume directive comprises at least an indication whether or not the radio network device (30) should perform an RRC Resume procedure. If the RRC Resume directive indicates the radio network device (30) should not perform an RRC Resume procedure, the radio network device (30) performs an RRC Connection procedure. If the RRC Resume directive indicates the radio network device (30) should perform an RRC Resume procedure, it may include additional information to optimize or otherwise assist the RRC Resume procedure. In this manner, RRC Resume signaling is avoided when the eNB (11) knows that it will not be successful, such as if a prior RRC connection context is not available or readily retrievable, or is invalid.

摘要: A method of operating a radio access network (RAN) includes receiving, from a core network (CN) node, extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) assistance information describing a CN eDRX configuration for a user equipment (UE) served by the RAN node, generating a RAN eDRX configuration for the UE based on the eDRX assistance information, and configuring the UE with the RAN eDRX configuration. Related methods of operating a CN node and UE are disclosed.

摘要: A method of controlling an indication of user data in a buffer of a User Equipment (UE) is provided. The user data is for Small Data Transmission (SDT) when the UE is in inactive mode. Based on a threshold value related to an amount of the user data for SDT, the UE determines whether to include an indication into a first uplink grant allocation transmission. The indication would indicate that user data is in the buffer. When an indication of user data in a buffer is not included in the first uplink grant, this indicates that the amount of data left in the buffer is less than the threshold value minus the first allocated grant transmission size, and when an indication of user data in a buffer is included, the indication indicates how many further transmissions are needed for transmitting the rest of the pending data.

摘要: A communication system for enabling/disabling EDT comprises UEs and a network node. The network node is configured to collect measurements regarding cell information, determine whether EDT is allowed to be used by the UEs to transmit data prior to completing an access procedure, and send a message comprising an EDT indication instructing whether EDT is allowed to be used by the UEs. The UE is configured to initiate a transmission to the network node, receive the message comprising the EDT indication, and determine whether EDT is allowed to be used based on the EDT indication. The communication system may be able to enable or disable EDT for the UE based the status of cell, such that the communication system may avoid a resource waste caused by an early indication in Msg1 or a larger uplink grant in Msg2, and further improve the network performance.

摘要: A method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network. The method includes detecting first synchronization signaling of a first cell on first time and frequency resources. The first synchronization signaling comprises at least a first synchronization signal and a second synchronization signal. The method further includes detecting indication signaling on second time and frequency resources. The second time and frequency resources are derived based on the first time and frequency resources. The method further includes accessing the first cell if the indication signaling is detected on the second time and frequency resources. Accessing the first cell includes decoding a first system information message on a broadcast channel of the first cell. The first system information message indicates time and frequency resources of a first resource set. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
