摘要: A transceiver device includes a controller arranged to identify a first set of control information within the data packet, and to re-map the data packet such that the first set of control information is mapped on bits known to be more robust. The transceiver device further includes a transmitter arranged to transmit the re-mapped data packet. The first set of control information holds information which enables for identification to combine soft bits from repeated transmissions at a receiver of the packet. The bits known to be more robust have more distinct value distribution in signal space of a used modulation and coding scheme than other bits. The transceiver device is arranged to transmit a data packet. A corresponding method, computer program, access point and station are also disclosed.

摘要: A receiver receives binary information from a transmission using a binary amplitude shift keying where information symbols are represented by a signal including a first power state and a second power state. A duration of a bit includes a first part where the second power state is applied irrespective of which binary value is represented, and a second part where a binary value is represented by any of the first power and a third power state or a combination pattern of the first power state and the third power state. A sampling circuit is arranged to retrieve samples of the received signal during the second part and discard samples during the first part. A duration of the retrieving of samples is selected to be a time corresponding to the duration of the second part plus a time based on an expected synchronization error.

摘要: A method of transmitting an amplitude shift keying signal comprises determining timing of an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex, OFDM, transmission of a concurrently operating transmission system, wherein the OFDM transmission applies an extended representation for at least a part of the transmitted OFDM transmission, which extended representation comprises an extended part, representing a data signal to be transmitted by amplitude shift keying, and transmitting the amplitude shift keyed data signal intermittently aligned with the OFDM transmission such that symbols of the amplitude shift keyed data signal occurs only during the extended part of the OFDM transmission. The data signal may represent a wake-up signal arranged to address a wake-up radio. A transmitter, network node and computer program for implementing the method are also disclosed.

摘要: Methods and stations (200, 204) for enabling power saving in a receiving station (204) when a transmitting station (200) transmits a radio signal to a targeted station (202). The transmitting station (200) sets at least one power limitation bit that indicates an estimated power limitation status of the targeted station (202), and transmits the radio signal with a preamble including the power limitation bit. When receiving said preamble, the receiving station (204) is able to determine whether to receive and decode the remaining complete radio signal or not, based on the power limitation bit. For example, if the receiving station (204) itself is power limited, it can save power by not receiving and decoding the complete radio signal when the power limitation bit in the preamble indicates that the targeted station (202) is non-power limited.
