    摘要: In a method of operating a combined-cycle plant, valves (21) acting upstream of a high-pressure steam turbine (12) are completely closed in the event of load shedding. The gas-turbine group (A+8) is uncoupled from an intermediate-pressure/low-pressure steam turbine (11) in such a way that the gas-turbine group can go into island mode. In this case, the speed of the uncoupled steam turbine (11) is not greater than the speed of the gas-turbine group (A+8), and steam (16) in the flow path of a reheater (10a) belonging to the heat-recovery steam generator (10) expands freely through the intermediate-pressure/low-pressure steam turbine (11), in the course of which this expansion does not cause the speed of the gas-turbine group (A+8) to exceed its protective speed.

    摘要: In a method of operating a steam turbine which consists of at least two separate turbine sections (11, 15), working at different pressures from one another, and works with at least one reheat, in which arrangement the steam is directed to at least one reheater (13) after flowing through the separate turbine section of higher pressure (11), is heated in said reheater (13) and is then fed to the separate turbine section of lower pressure (15), the separate turbine section of lower pressure (15) is fed with cooler steam during the starting and run-up phase than during full-load/continuous operation. This is done, for example, owing to the fact that at least some of the exhaust steam from the separate turbine section of higher pressure (11) is directed via a bypass (18) directly into the separate turbine section of lower pressure (15) during the run-up phase of the turbine, and all the exhaust steam from the separate turbine section of higher pressure (11) is directed into the reheater (13) only upon reaching full-load or in continuous operation, is heated in said reheater (13) and is then fed to the separate turbine section of lower pressure (15). Injection of water into the hot reheater steam is likewise possible. The starting time of the turbine is thereby reduced.

    摘要: Continuous processes for preparing polycarbonates having a weight average molecular weight MW, of 15,000 to 200,000 g/mol, the processes comprising reacting a dihydroxydiarylalkane and phosgene in the presence of a catalyst in a phase boundary process comprising: continuously dispersing in a disperser an organic phase comprising at least a portion of the phosgene and a solvent suitable for the polycarbonate and an aqueous phase comprising the dihydroxydiarylalkane, water and an alkali solution present in an amount of 1.5 to 2.5 moles per mole of the dihydroxydiarylalkane, to form a mixture; reacting the mixture in a first reactor with a residence time of less than 0.5 seconds; further reacting the mixture in a second reactor with addition of further alkali solution and, optionally, a chain terminator; and effecting further condensation in a third reactor with addition of further alkali solution and, optionally, a chain terminator, in the presence of the catalyst.

    摘要: An acceleration and deceleration sensor includes a housing; first and second elongate cavities formed in the housing and extending parallel to one another; a reed switch disposed in the first cavity; a first elongate permanent magnet immovably secured in the second cavity; and a second elongate permanent magnet longitudinally slidably received in the second cavity and arranged end-to-end relative to the first magnet. The reed switch and the second magnet are arranged with respect to one another such that upon movement of the second magnet the magnetic field thereof actuates the reed switch. The sensor further has a lid cooperating with the first cavity and has a closed and an open position. In the closed position the lid covers the first cavity and is supported on the housing and in the open position the first cavity is exposed to environment external to the housing. The lid is arranged for movement from the closed position to the open position in a direction transverse to the length dimension of the elongate first cavity. There is further provided an adjustment screw closing an end of the second cavity.
