    摘要: An outer joint member includes a cutout portion that is formed at least at each corner portion on an opening side of a cup section, which is defined between a radially inner opening end portion of each of track grooves and a radially inner spherical surface portion formed between the track grooves. The cutout portion is configured to prevent a cage from interfering with the outer joint member when the cage is incorporated into the outer joint member. The cutout portion and the track grooves of the outer joint member are finished by cold-forging ironing using a single ironing punch.

    摘要: Provided is a constant velocity universal joint having track shapes which facilitate quality control on a forging die set and products as in a conventional case while securing higher durability through securement of a stable contact state of forging-molded tracks and finishing-processed tracks with respect to balls. At least one of each of track grooves (22) of an outer joint member (23) and each of track grooves (25) of an inner joint member (26) is formed by cold-forging finishing. A track groove bottom side of the at least one of each of the track grooves (22) and the track grooves (25) is formed into a Gothic arch shape in horizontal cross-section, and track groove opening sides of the at least one of each of the track grooves (22) and the track grooves (25) are each formed into an elliptical shape in horizontal cross-section.

    摘要: Provided is a fixed type constant velocity universal joint which can prevent stick slip from occurring due to lack of lubricity, and prevent abnormal noises from occurring at low temperatures, even during use in an extremely cold region. The fixed type constant velocity universal joint which has grease enclosed therein and is provided with an outer joint member 23 having an inner surface in which a plurality of track grooves 22 are formed, an inner joint member 26 having an outer circumferential surface in which a plurality of track grooves 25 are formed, a plurality of balls 27 for transmitting torque provided between the track grooves 22 of the outer joint member 23 and the track grooves 25 of the inner joint member 26, and a cage 28 for retaining the balls 27, in which the grease contains 80% by mass or more of paraffinic mineral oil or a mixture of paraffinic mineral oil and synthetic hydrocarbon oil with respect to the total mass of a lubricant component contained as base oil, the paraffinic mineral oil accounts for 70% by mass or more of the total mass of the lubricant component, and the grease contains 3 to 8% by mass of a thickener with respect to the total mass of the grease, so that the grease prevents abnormal noises from occurring at low temperatures.

    摘要: A fixed constant velocity universal joint includes an outer race having a spherical inner circumferential surface, the outer race including axially extending ball grooves formed in the spherical inner circumferential surface at regular circumferential intervals, and an inner race having a spherical outer circumferential surface, the inner race including axially extending ball grooves formed in the spherical outer circumferential surface at regular circumferential intervals. Balls are interposed between pairs of the ball grooves of the outer race and the ball grooves of the inner race. A cage has pockets for receiving the balls, the pockets being formed at predetermined circumferential intervals. The outer race is produced by hot forging or lathe-turning and subjected to thermal refining treatment.
