摘要： In a scanning optical device which polarization-scans a plurality of fluxes of light by one rotary polygon mirror to form a multi-color image by irradiating beams on a plurality of photosensitive drums, respective, the fluxes of light being incident on the rotary polygon mirror have different angles with respect to a reference plane defined by a normal line of a reflecting surface of the rotary polygon mirror and a rotating direction of the rotary polygon mirror, and a flux of light polarization-scanned at the largest angle between the flux of light and the reference plane is irradiated on a photosensitive drum on which a color image having the highest brightness is formed. With this configuration, a scanning optical device in which a defective image caused by an optical face tangle error can be improved without improving the precision of parts and an image forming apparatus including the scanning optical device are provided.

摘要： An absorbent article having extensibility at waist panel is disclosed. The absorbent article includes a liquid pervious topsheet, an absorbent core disposed underneath the topsheet, and a chassis layer. A first or second waist panel includes a portion of the chassis layer. The chassis layer includes a plurality of spaced discontinuities regularly disposed in at least a portion of the first or second waist panel. The discontinuities are open to provide the chassis layer with extensibility in the transverse direction when the first or second waist panel is subjected to tension. The absorbent article also includes an extensibility controlling means to control the extensibility of the chassis layer.

摘要： An absorbent article comprising a stretchable fastening member is disclosed. The absorbent article comprises a chassis and a stretchable fastening member. The stretchable panel of the stretchable fastening member comprises a first stretchable zone and a second stretchable zone disposed in the lateral direction. The first stretchable zone is capable of providing extensibility upon an initially applied extension force. Extensibility of the second stretchable zone is restricted by a restriction means until the restriction means is inactivated, and the restriction means is inactivated upon a further applied extension force such that the second stretchable zone provides an additional extensibility to reduce a stress developed in the stretchable panel.
