摘要： An absorbent article including a main body with an absorbent core, and a ring-like elastic belt, is disclosed. The article may include a front belt and a back belt each formed by an inner sheet, an outer sheet and a plurality of elastic bodies sandwiched therebetween and running in the transverse direction. The elastic bodies in the back belt may include a plurality of waist elastic bodies having elasticity over the entire transverse width of the back belt; a plurality of tummy elastic bodies removed of their elasticity in at least a portion overlapping the absorbent core, and a core edge elastic body disposed overlapping the absorbent core and adjacent the distal edge of the absorbent core, the core edge elastic body having elasticity over the entire transverse width of the back belt.

摘要： An absorbent article includes a chassis comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and at least one elastically elongatable panel joined to the chassis. The elastically elongatable panel includes a stretch laminate that has at least one cover layer, an elastomeric film attached to the cover layer, the elastomeric film having two surfaces and a skin on at least one of the surfaces, and an adhesive disposed between the skin and the cover layer. The stretch laminate has at least one anchoring zone and at least one stretch zone, the skin that is located in the stretch zone has a plurality of wrinkles that are substantially perpendicular to a stretch direction of the stretch laminate, and the wrinkles have furrows, and at least some of the adhesive is disposed in at least some of the furrows.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods for making elastomeric laminates that may be used as components of absorbent articles. In particular, discrete mechanical bonds are applied to a first substrate and a second substrate to secure elastic strands therebetween, wherein the discrete bonds are arranged intermittently along the machine direction. During the bonding process, heat and pressure are applied to the first substrate and the second substrate such that malleable materials of the first and second substrates deform to completely surround an outer perimeter of a discrete length of the stretched elastic strand. After removing the heat and pressure from the first and second substrates, the malleable materials harden to define a bond conforming with a cross sectional shape defined by the outer perimeter of the stretched elastic strand.

摘要： An elastic nonwoven laminate that contains an elastic film laminated to one or more nonwoven facings is provided. The nonwoven facing contains a conventional polyolefin and can also contain a polyolefin-based plastomer. The laminate is activated by grooving to decouple the nonwoven facing from the elastic film. To reduce fiber-pull out that can result due to activation by grooving, the laminate can be post-bonded at room or elevated temperatures and a specific range of pressures to compact the fibers of the facing and minimize fiber pull-out/fuzziness while not sacrificing the softness, elasticity, and feel of the laminate.

The article further includes a first longitudinal edge, a second longitudinal edge, and a chassis comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet. A waist gasketing element is disposed in one of the first or the second waist regions and joined to the chassis in a chassis attachment region. The waist gasketing element comprises an outboard lateral edge and an inboard lateral edge. The chassis attachment region comprises a first zone proximate to the outboard lateral edge and a second zone disposed longitudinally inboard of the first zone. Each of the first and the second zones comprise one or more chassis attachment bonds. The first zone comprises a first total basis weight and the second zone comprises a second total basis weight, wherein the second total basis weight is greater than the first total basis weight.

摘要： A disposable undergarment is disclosed which includes a main body having an absorbent core, a first side and a second side. The main body has a top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet formed from polypropylene. The main body also has a front portion, a rear portion, and a crotch portion, and each of the front and rear portions has a top edge. The undergarment also has first and second elastic extensions each having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal ends of the first and second extensions are ultrasonically bonded to the main body. The undergarment further has first and second attachment areas, each having a plurality of engaging elements, secured to the liquid permeable top sheet. The engaging elements engage with the first and second elastic extensions to secure the undergarment at least about 0.5 inches below said wearer's waist.

摘要： The purpose of this disclosure is to provide a process for producing stretch nonwoven fabric having excellent stretchability. This production process has the following configuration. The process for producing stretch nonwoven fabric comprises: a step in which nonwoven fabric to be treated which comprises stretchable fibers and extensible fibers is unevenly stretched, while being conveyed, so that nonwoven fabric having both higher stretched regions and lower stretched regions is formed; and a step in which the nonwoven fabric having both higher stretched regions and lower stretched regions is heated for 0.1-10 seconds at a temperature which is 40° C. or higher but is lower than the melting point of the stretchable fibers. The production process is characterized in that in the nonwoven fabric having both higher stretched regions and lower stretched regions, the higher stretched regions and the lower stretched regions are parallel to the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction and are present alternately in the conveying direction.
