    Abstract: A network device for a mobile carrier network sends, to a third-party content platform, a client message including a first dedicated subscription parameter extension. The first dedicated subscription parameter extension indicates one or more subscription parameters for a data flow between a user equipment (UE) device that originated the client message and the third-party content platform. The network device receives, from the third-party content platform, a server message including a second dedicated subscription parameter extension. The second dedicated subscription parameter extension confirms the third-party content platform will abide by the one or more subscription parameters. The network device generates, based on the one or more subscription parameters, a policy enforcement rule for the data flow that relies, at least in part, on cooperation of the third-party content platform.

    Abstract: A system for receiving, by a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) device and from a packet data network gateway (PGW) device, a signaling message for a subscriber data session, the signaling message including first radio condition notification (RCN) data identifying an amount/level of data service throughput available at a location with respect to a radio access network (RAN); generating, responsive to the signaling message, a request for the subscriber's quality of service (QoS) and policy information; sending the request for QoS and policy information to a home subscriber server (HSS) device; receiving, from the HSS device, the subscriber's QoS and policies; determining, based on the QoS and policies and the amount/level of data service throughput, QoS and policy decisions applicable to the subscriber at the location; and sending the QoS and policy decisions to the PGW device for implementation via the RAN.

    Abstract: A network device may receive, a flow control request for a first device that is registered for an internet protocol (IP) pinhole service. The flow control request may include a device identifier associated with the first device and a private IP address. The network device may identify at least one of IP address information, port information, and pinhole rules. The network device may provide, to another network device, a flow control response that includes at least one of the IP address information, the port information, and the pinhole rules. The flow control response may cause the other network device to allow traffic flow through the firewall using at least one of the IP address information and the port information. The network device may provide a public IP address and a port identifier to a second device, allowing the second device to provide traffic to the first device.

The system may further identify one or more actions to perform with respect to the traffic based on the identified first and second conditions, and instruct the gateway device to perform the one or more actions on the traffic prior to outputting the traffic from the gateway device.
