Described are methods and compositions for producing and isolating desired products (for example, one or more protein, peptide, or pharmaceutical compound species) in transgenic plants engineered to produce the desired product(s). The desired products are isolated from the transgenic plants by contacting plant tissue with an enzyme preparation under conditions effective to hydrolyze the cell wall of the cells comprising the plant tissue. In preferred embodiments, the one or more enzyme species used to effect cell lysis are expressed in the transgenic plant.

The present invention provides a fast, efficient, precise method and apparatus for compounding solutions for use in hyperalimentation therapy. The apparatus includes a controller for entering the volume and specific gravity of the solution to be compounded.A load cell monitors the weight of the solutions that have been transferred to a collection vessel and in connection with the controller thereby maintains the precise amount of each therein. The controller also surveys various process conditions and warns of any failure of those conditions. Peristaltic pumps are used for the delivery of the compounding solution to maintain the solutions in a sterile condition.

A simplified sheet folding and envelope inserting machine is disclosed for folding and inserting of the folded sheets into envelopes. The machine is designed so that immediate access is gained when the top half is pivoted open. When opened, the first buckle chute is automatically opened, and access to another buckle chute is achieved by pivotally raising the upper wall of the other buckle chute. Jam access to the envelope filling station is immediate, since the sheet inlet guide is positioned over the inserting station, and the inlet guide raises with the top half of the machine.

Driving events are captured at an event detector in a vehicle and stored in an associated data storage area. The output of a sensor in the vehicle is monitored, and the stored driving event data is sent to an evaluation server over a wireless communication network when a data transfer condition is detected. Driving event data is sent to the evaluation server when a predetermined output from the sensor is detected and the vehicle is in the transmission range of an access point. The predetermined sensor output may be from a motion sensor in the vehicle indicating that the vehicle is substantially stopped, or from a vehicle location sensor indicating that the vehicle is within transmission range of an access point.
