摘要: An electrochemical cell includes a gas permeable member, a metal member, and an electrically conductive member. The gas permeable member through which a reducing gas is permeable has electrical conductivity. The metal member contains chromium and is connected to the gas permeable member. The electrically conductive member is porous and is located between the gas permeable member and the metal member. The electrically conductive member contains metal particles, and a first element whose first ionization energy and free energy of formation of an oxide per mole of oxygen are smaller than those of chromium.

摘要: The disclosure relates to bipolar plates used in fuel cells and to methods for forming bipolar plates. A bipolar plate of a fuel cell with a composite corrosion-resistant, gastight, conductive coating comprises a core of a required shape, a first layer having high contact conductivity on the core, and a second layer having corrosion resistance, high gas-tightness, electric conductivity on the first layer and in pores of the first layer, the second layer covering at least the pores in the first layer. The first layer is preferably formed by a magnetron sputtering method, and the second layer is preferably formed by a method of thermolysis of a metalorganic compound. This ensures high gas-tightness and elasticity of a bipolar plate without compromising its corrosion resistance and contact conductivity.

摘要: A bipolar plate assembly for a fuel cell includes a cathode sheet assembly and an anode sheet assembly. The cathode sheet assembly includes a first cathode sheet, a second cathode sheet, and a first divider sheet arranged between the first cathode sheet and the second cathode sheet. The anode sheet assembly includes an anode sheet and a second divider sheet arranged on an anode sheet inner surface. The second cathode sheet is arranged on the second divider sheet such that the anode sheet assembly and the cathode sheet assembly form the bipolar plate. The cathode sheet assembly includes passages through which coolant fluid may flow. The first and second divider sheets prevent the fluid from permeating through the cathode and anode sheets and interacting with the adjacent cathode and anode gas diffusion layers.

摘要: The present invention discloses a silicon plate, a method for producing a silicon plate, an application of silicon to a fuel cell, a fuel cell stack structure, a fuel cell, and an application of a fuel cell. The silicon plate is made of a doped conductive crystalline silicon material, and has an internal cooling medium flow channel, a front reducing agent flow channel, and/or a back oxidizing agent flow channel, and each of the internal cooling medium flow channel, the front reducing agent flow channel, and/or the back oxidizing agent flow channel is provided with a silicon plate inlet-outlet combination connected to thereof. Compared with a metal plate, a graphite plate, or a composite material plate in the existing technologies, the silicon plate provided in the present invention are more advantageous in service life, costs, efficiency, and power density, and therefore significantly drives mass industrialization of fuel cells.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a brazing method for joining substrates, in particular where one of the substrates is difficult to wet with molten braze material. The method includes formation of a porous metal layer on a first substrate to assist wetting of the first substrate with a molten braze metal, which in turn permits joining of the first substrate with a second substrate via a braze metal later in an assembled brazed joint. Ceramic substrates can be particularly difficult to wet with molten braze metals, and the disclosed method can be used to join a ceramic substrate to another substrate. The brazed joint can be incorporated into a solid-oxide fuel cell, for example as a stack component thereof, in particular when the first substrate is a ceramic substrate and the joined substrate is a metallic substrate.

摘要: A manufacturing method for manufacturing a fuel cell includes a laser application step and a bonding step. In the laser application step, a laser beam is applied to a carbon film of a separator including a metal plate and the carbon film covering a surface of the metal plate such that the metal plate is exposed by removing the carbon film within an application range of the laser beam. In the bonding step, the separator is bonded to a resin member within a range including at least part of a range where the metal plate is exposed.
