摘要: A process and a secondary pulper used in a system for waste paper conditioning wherein the secondary pulper has a tumbling space separated from an accepted stock space by a screen. The secondary pulper includes a central drain line through which a fraction of fiber suspension enriched with light dirt is removed at one end of the secondary pulper, and a circumferential line through which a fraction of the fiber suspension enriched with heavy dirt is removed from the secondary pulper. A pulp inlet sleeve surrounds the central drain line and receives fiber suspension enriched with heavy dirt from the circumferential drain line through a conduit from the circumferential drain line to the pulp inlet sleeve so that the fiber suspension enriched with heavy dirt enters the tumbling space adjacent the entrance to the central drain line.

摘要: A washing apparatus for processing and cleaning highly contaminated fibrous suspension made from waste paper and containing a high proportion of lightweight contaminants such as foils. The apparatus includes a generally circular rotation chamber and a good half-stuff chamber separated from the rotation chamber by a substantially planar strainer. A revolving rotor is fitted within the rotation chamber in front of the strainer. An entry chamber for receiving fibrous suspension in washing water communicates with the rotation chamber. The entry chamber is of a substantially smaller diameter than the rotation chamber and includes a washing water connection. A waste matter extraction line leads off from the rotation chamber.

摘要: A system for wastepaper processing which uses a newly developed wash filter of a simple design. The wash filter includes a generally round agitating space and an accepted stock space. The accepted stock space is separated from the agitating space by an essentially flat screen. An agitating wheel is positioned within the agitating space and in front of the flat screen. An entrance space for receipt of fibrous suspension and wash water is also included in the wash filter. The entrance space has a smaller diameter than the diameter of the agitating space. Flow of the suspension from either a primary pulper or a secondary pulper is received in the entrance space of the wash filter. A tailing removal line is in communication with and extends from the agitating space of the wash filter.

摘要: An arrangement is provided for use in treating suspensions of waste paper in waste paper dressing plants. The arrangement includes a comminuting apparatus which includes a disintegrating rotor wheel which has a transport and disintegrating affect is provided in combination with a pulper device. The disintegrating rotor wheel is adapted to rotate in advance or otherwise in front of a sieve arranged perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the disintegrating rotor wheel and which divides the interior of the comminuting apparatus into a useful fraction compartment and a disintegrating compartment. A conduit tube is provided for connecting the pulper device to the comminuting apparatus and is connected to the pulper device at the bottom, side or center thereof. In this manner, only that portion of the suspension which includes the impurity contents is transported from the pulper device to the comminuting apparatus. The comminuting apparatus thus serves to remove accumulated impurities from the pulper device.

摘要: The invention concerns a process for the treatment of wastepaper, carried out for the most at a high consistency of at least 13% in the first stages, beginning the dissolution (soaking) and including a coarse sorting stage. The invention is characterized in that in the case of wastepaper containing a share of at least 40% of deinking wastepaper provided with printing inks the three first process stages, namely in this order of soaking, coarse cleaning and the further extensive dissolution of the wastepaper, take place at a considerable reduction of the wastepaper shreds to the usual speck size at a consistency of at least 13%, and the soaking under considerable addition of dissolving chemicals, and that the wastepaper including essentially all heavy contaminations, such as part of wood, glass, plastic or metal contained in the wastepaper, including pieces of metal straps of the wastepaper bales, is fed to the process.

摘要: In a pulping apparatus including a pulper with a rotor near the bottom therein, the pulper having a sluice outlet at the bottom for acceptable pulp suspension. Above the rotor at a corner of the pulper is a second outlet for suspension and dirt. A conduit leads from the second outlet to a horizontally oriented withdrawal apparatus chamber having a suspension agitating rotor at the end of the chamber opposite the entrance for pulp thereinto. A tangential outlet from the withdrawal apparatus chamber leads to a rotary, perforated sorting drum which permits exit of acceptable suspension and which has a rejected suspension and dirt outlet. A valve in the inlet to the withdrawal apparatus chamber is periodically and cyclically opened to permit periodic replacement of the suspension in the withdrawal apparatus chamber, and the suspension which has been agitated in the withdrawal apparatus chamber then moves to the sorting drum.

摘要: An apparatus for sorting a fibrous suspension for removing both heavy weight and light weight particulate impurities is disclosed. An antechamber is positioned above a main chamber. Fibrous stock suspension is inletted tangentially to the antechamber and moves down to the main chamber. An annular rotor in the main chamber creates a vortex of the fibrous stock suspension, which drives the heavier particulate impurities to the side wall of the main chamber and moves the lighter weight impurities toward the center of the vortex. The heavier weight impurities fall to the bottom of the main chamber from which they are removed. The lighter weight impurities are removed by a drainage line extending toward the center of the antechamber. Above the rotor is a strainer and the rotor cooperates with the strainer to drive purified fluid suspension to an annular outlet chamber surrounding the bottom of the antechamber and from there into an outlet line.
