In some exemplary aspects, the tube sheet assembly may comprise a plurality of retaining plates sandwiched together with a tube sheet plate. In some exemplary aspects, the apparatus may further comprise at least one restrictor plate adapted to obstruct at least one of the plurality of bores of the tube sheet.

    摘要: A method of cleaning a regenerative filter having a filter housing having inlet and outlet zones, a fluid path provided between the inlet and outlet zones, and a plurality of filter elements each having an outer surface filter media applied thereto and functioning to filter particulate or contaminants from the fluid path, the method comprising draining all fluids from the filter housing, refilling the filter housing with fluid to an optimum level, and initiating a cleaning sequence of the filter housing with the fluid at the optimum level. The cleaning sequence can comprise agitating the tube sheet, initiating a pump to effectively air scour for a first predetermined amount of time, dwelling for a second predetermined amount of time, and repeating the agitating, initiating, and dwelling until a third predetermined amount of time is complete.

    摘要: A compact, piston-driven water filtration system with annular cleaning device/brush. The filter apparatus operates based on a piston-driven pressure system where the piston is threadably mated to a water reservoir. Threading of the piston forces a sleeve connected thereto within the reservoir to force water through any suitable water filter (e.g. carbon-based, ceramic, micro- and/or nano-membrane materials) on the opposite side of the reservoir from the threadably-mated piston within the reservoir. The sleeve connected to the piston within the interior of the reservoir includes a cleaning device (e.g., brush, scraper, pad, etc.) on a distal end of the sleeve inside the water reservoir. The annular brush has an inner diameter smaller than that of the sleeve, such that as the piston is threaded into and out of the reservoir, the sleeve moves toward, over, and away from the filter, and the brush scrapes/scrubs/cleans the exterior of the filter for cleansing.

    摘要: A filter cartridge for use in a baghouse having a tubesheet with a plurality of opening. A flexible snapband is biased towards engagement with a surface defining one of the openings in the tubesheet and is adapted to receive a portion of the filter cartridge. The snapband has a first surface and a second surface with a pair of protrusions separated by a groove adapted to receive a peripheral edge of one of the tubesheet opening. The pair of protrusions sealingly engage surfaces of the tubesheet. The filter cartridge includes filter media. Structure supports the filter media. A rigid non-metallic tubular collar is integrally formed with the filter media and the structure to secure this filter media and the structure to said collar. The collar includes a pair of longitudinally spaced continuous projections extending radially from the collar. The collar further includes an annular surface extending from the collar for establishing the position of the filter cartridge relative to the tubesheet The collar is adapted to be positioned within the snapband and engage the first surface of the snapband to effect sealing engagement of the snapband against a portion of the opening in the tubesheet. The first projection extends radially the said collar to further force a portion of the snapband into sealing engagement with a surface of the tubesheet. The second projection further forces another portion of the snapband into sealing engagement with another surface of the tubesheet.
