Abstract: A method for electrical grid monitoring using aggregated smart meter data includes receiving, from an electric grid monitoring device, electrical data aggregated from a plurality of electric meters each connected to a secondary side of at least one electrical transformer within a local geographic region. Each electric meter is configured to generate measurement data based on measurements taken at a respective electrical load. The electrical data indicates one or more characteristics of a secondary electrical distribution system connected to the at least one electrical transformer. The method includes determining, based on the electrical data aggregated from the plurality of electric meters, one or more characteristics of the primary electrical distribution system connected to the electrical transformer.

Abstract: A method is performed by a secure execution system. The method includes: receiving, from a first system, interconnection data for a proposed interconnection to a power grid; accessing, from a second system, a power grid model including a topological representation of the power grid, electrical specifications of grid components, and empirical operation characteristics; simulating, using the power grid model, operation of the power grid with the proposed interconnection coupled to a location in the power grid identified by the interconnection data while providing security for the power grid model from access by the first system and any third party; calculating simulated power grid data, the simulated power grid data including data representing violations of a parameter of the power grid; and providing the simulated power grid data as output to the first system, to the second system, or both.

One of the methods includes obtaining respective datasets, identifying one or more predictive models for each of the respective datasets that are each configured to processes a category of data to generate an output that specifies a partial representation of the electric power grid; and aggregating the respective outputs in accordance with a set of predetermined rules to generate a final representation of the electric power grid.
