The shape and the size of the antenna are set according to an interval of the tape cassettes such that when the antenna is put in a positional state where the antenna confronts an objective tape cassette having a memory with which communication is to be executed, among the plurality of tape cassettes arranged in the magazine so that communication becomes possible, a memory of a tape cassette arranged adjacently to the objective tape cassette is located at a position corresponding to a dead zone of the antenna.
