摘要: A plurality of communication nodes are one-to-one connected to each other by Ethernet (registered trademark) which is duplicated with a normal-system ring and with a standby-system ring. The communication node includes an A port, a B port, and a communication processor that performs a process of receiving a frame output from the B port and a process of transmitting the frame from the normal-system ring from the B port when the communication is normal. When other communication node performs a loop-back process due to communication abnormality, the communication node performs only a process of forwarding a frame input from the standby-system ring in the B port without receiving the frame and performs a process of transmitting the frame from the A port to the standby-system ring.

摘要: Due to a difference in coefficient of linear expansion between the constituent material of the flange and the constituent material of the base of the feedthrough, the solder material which joins these materials is unable to withstand the thermomechanical loading that is generated between these heterogeneous materials during their actual usage for a long period and, as a result, cracks formed in the solder-joined portion therebetween create low-density gas leakage paths that reduce actual lifespan to less than 5 years. Disclosed is a magnetic disk device comprising a magnetic disk, a magnetic head for recording and reproducing information onto and from the magnetic disk, a base, a feedthrough solder-joined to the base, and a solder-joined portion for joining the base and the feedthrough, wherein a recess portion is provided in the perimeter edge of the solder-joined portion of the base.

摘要: A CRC calculating unit calculates a DCS code for a DA field to a DATA field and an FCS code for the DA field to a DCS field. A DCS checking unit outputs a DCS check result with a calculated DCS code and a DCS code in the DCS field to a terminal operating unit. An FCS checking unit outputs an FCS check result with a calculated FCS code and an FCS code in the FCS field to an FCS converting unit. The FCS checking unit determines whether to forward through the frame or to forward the frame by storing the calculated FCS code in the FCS field based on the FCS check result. The terminal operating unit determines a processing mode based on the DCS check result.

摘要: An ink containing a hydrophobic colloid charged with a positive zeta potential when the pH of the ink is within a range of over 4 and under 6. Silicon or silicon compound can be limited from being eluted into the ink from a circuit board formed from a silicon wafer or the like. Additionally, silicon or silicon compound, if eluted into the ink can be prevented from being deposited on a resistance heater and causing “cogation”, or to prevent the silicon or silicon compound from being deposited in an ink channel and nozzle to clog the nozzle.
