A tightener for a belt drive cooperates with the belt in the presence of oil, and has a pin with a first axis; a base plate integral with and substantially perpendicular to the pin; a cam arm connected in a rotary manner to the pin and movable with respect to the base plate; a contact member carried by the cam arm; and an elastic member connected to the cam arm to activate the contact member against the belt. The tightener also has a friction member made of oil-resistant material and axially supporting the cam arm on the base plate; and axial elastic means for loading the friction member against the base plate.

A tensioner (1) for a belt drive, comprises a base (2) defining an axis (A), a mobile eccentric element (3) hinged about axis (A) and loaded by a spring (5), a pulley (4) idly connected to the mobile element (3). Specifically, the pulley (4) defines a single body with the external ring of a rolling bearing (6) mounted on the mobile element (3) and the spring (5) is helical and presents a square or rectangular cross section.

Actuating device for a recirculation pump of a cooling circuit of an internal combustion engine comprising a pulley suitable for being rotationally driven by the engine, a driven shaft for driving the pump and an electromagnetically controlled coupling interposed between the pulley and the driven shaft, in which the electromagnetic coupling comprises an electromagnet, coupling mechanism controlled by the electromagnet and mobile between an engagement position in which the pulley is connected to the driven shaft and a disengagement position, and an elastic member for maintaining an engagement member in the engaged position when the electromagnet is not energized.

Toothed belt for use with oil comprising a body and a plurality of teeth extending from at least a surface of the body; the teeth are covered by a coating fabric. The toothed belt comprises a plurality of resistant inserts produced from at least a first and a second material. Preferably, the resistant inserts are constituted by glass fibers and carbon fibers. Preferably, a resistant layer is made to adhere over the coating fabric, said layer comprising a fluorine based plastomer with the addition of an elastomeric material, wherein the plastomer is present in a greater amount than the elastomeric material. The elastomeric material forming the body of the belt is preferably a copolymer obtained from a diene monomer and a monomer containing nitrile groups, wherein the nitrile groups are between 33% and 49%, preferably 39 weight % with respect to the copolymer.
