    摘要: A system and method for detecting a pick-up of an item and processing payment based on the detected pick-up are provided. The method includes receiving at least one data packet from at least one Internet of Things (IoT) tag, wherein each of the least IoT tag is attached to an item, extracting a frequency word from the at least one received data packet, wherein the frequency word is a measure of the at least one IoT tag, analyzing the frequency word to determine a pick-up event to be associated with a pick-up of the item attached to the at least one IoT tag, upon detecting the pick-up event, sending a notification including an identification of the at least one IoT tag, wherein the notification includes information associated with the picked-up item attached to the at least one IoT tag, prompting a user to purchase the picked-up item, and upon the user selecting to purchase the item, and associating a user's purchase account with the picked-up item; and commencing checkout of the item upon detecting the user exiting a location where the item is sold.
