摘要： A depilation apparatus comprising a number of pinching discs (39, 119, 143) which are coupled to a drive shaft (7, 145) by means of a coupling member (43, 123, 155) and which are pivotable by means of a pivot member (87, 89) about a pivot axis (115, 141) extending transverse to the drive shaft (7, 145) into a pinching position in which the pinching discs (39, 119, 143) exert a pinching force on one another near a depilation opening (3). The coupling members (43, 123, 155) are each provided with a rotund pivot guide (45, 125, 153), so that the pinching discs (39, 119, 143) are coupled to the drive shaft (7, 145) substantially without play in a radial direction in any position. In a special embodiment, the drive shaft (7) is provided with three parallel rods (11) and the coupling member (43) is arranged between the rods (11), whereby the coupling member (43) bears on each rod (11) with a lateral surface which forms part of a spherical surface tangent to each rod (11). Due to the use of the coupling members (43, 123, 155), the pinching discs (39, 119, 143) have a high degree of tilting freedom relative to the drive shaft (7, 145) and are coupled to the drive shaft (7, 145) without play in any tilting position.

摘要： A depilating device removes hairs from the skin of a user and includes a carrier mounting a series of fixed and movable pinching plates arranged along an axial direction of the carrier in an alternating relation and in a closely adjacent relation to form small clearances between the adjacent movable and fixed pinching plates for entrapping hairs therebetween. The fixed pinching plates are kept fixed with respect to the axial direction of the carrier. The movable pinching plates are caused to be displaced in the axial direction relative to the adjacent fixed pinching plates in order to repeat clamping the hairs between the adjacent ones of the fixed and movable pinching plates and releasing the same, thereby plunking the hairs from the skin. The depilating device is characterized in that the fixed and movable pinching plates are arranged and displaced such that the two adjacent ones of the movable pinching plates are caused to shift in the opposite directions along the axis of the carrier against the common fixed pinching plates positioned between these two adjacent movable pinching plates to thereby apply counterbalancing clamping forces to the common one of the fixed pinching plates from the two adjacent movable pinching plates.

摘要： A hair depilating device having a plucking assembly comprising at least two hubs, each accomodating at least one radially-extending swivel element mounted on the hub via a pin radially extending from the wall of the hub. The sidewall of the hub further includes a pinch plate, which projects radially outwardly therefrom. The radially-extending swivel element and pinch plate of a neighboring disc-like assembly define a V-shaped hair trap. The other side of the pinch plate forms a second V-shaped hair trap with a radial extension swivel element of a third opposing neighboring disc-like assembly. The opposing edges of the hair-traps at the rear end meet first, and only afterwards is the entire trap closed. This design provides a substantially reduced rotational closure distance, traveled by the hair-trap elements from the instant the trap begins to close until full trap closure. The trap closing displacement required for closure is also greatly reduced and more hairs are trapped and the plucking efficiency increased.

摘要： An epilating device has a rotary cylinder carrying a plurality of pinching row units arranged around the cylinder. An actuator bar is connected to movable blades in each row unit and is caused by a driven mechanism to move the movable blades towards the adjacent blades for pinching body hairs therebetween and plucking the hairs as the cylinder rotates. After the actuator bar is released from the driven mechanism, the bar is urged by a return spring to move the blades away from the adjacent blade to be ready for subsequent hair pinching. All the actuator bars spaced circumferentially around the cylinder and provided respectively for the row units are coupled commonly to the one return spring so that the epilating device can have an increased number of the row units around the cylinder only at a minimum number of the springs.
