摘要： A depilating device removes hairs from the skin of a user and includes a carrier mounting a series of fixed and movable pinching plates arranged along an axial direction of the carrier in an alternating relation and in a closely adjacent relation to form small clearances between the adjacent movable and fixed pinching plates for entrapping hairs therebetween. The fixed pinching plates are kept fixed with respect to the axial direction of the carrier. The movable pinching plates are caused to be displaced in the axial direction relative to the adjacent fixed pinching plates in order to repeat clamping the hairs between the adjacent ones of the fixed and movable pinching plates and releasing the same, thereby plunking the hairs from the skin. The depilating device is characterized in that the fixed and movable pinching plates are arranged and displaced such that the two adjacent ones of the movable pinching plates are caused to shift in the opposite directions along the axis of the carrier against the common fixed pinching plates positioned between these two adjacent movable pinching plates to thereby apply counterbalancing clamping forces to the common one of the fixed pinching plates from the two adjacent movable pinching plates.

摘要： A depilating device has a housing with a top opening and a plucking head with a longitudinal axis. The plucking head carries a series of pinching elements arranged in side-by-side relations to form therebetween gaps. At least one of the adjacent pinching elements is movable relative to the other so as to entrap and pinch the hairs between the adjacent pinching elements for plucking the hairs from the skin. A skin guide is disposed around the plucking head to be exposed at least partially beyond the pinching elements for sliding contact with the skin. The plucking head and the skin guide are floatingly supported to the housing by means of a common structure such that they are depressed together into the housing within a predetermined extent.

摘要： An improved epilating device is capable of effectively removing the hairs at different skin portions of the human body. The epilating device includes a single housing which is shaped to be grasped by the hand of a user and which includes a drive source. The housing carries a first epilation module provided at its top with a first plucking head which is driven by the drive source to effect the plucking of the body hairs. The first plucking head has a length defining therealong a first epilation zone. Also carried on the housing is a second epilation module provided at its top with a second plucking head which is driven commonly by the drive source to effect plucking of the body hairs. The second plucking head has a length defining therealong a second epilation zone. The first and second epilation modules are shaped respectively to have individual top ends of different external dimensions along the lengths of the first and second plucking heads and to have the first and second epilation zones of different lengths. Thus, the first and second epilation module can be selected depending upon the intended skin portion for optimum hair plucking at that portion.

摘要： An epilating device has a rotary cylinder carrying a plurality of pinching row units arranged around the cylinder. An actuator bar is connected to movable blades in each row unit and is caused by a driven mechanism to move the movable blades towards the adjacent blades for pinching body hairs therebetween and plucking the hairs as the cylinder rotates.
