摘要： The present invention relates to hair removal. In order to provide a hair- removal apparatus with improved user acceptance, a hair-removal apparatus (10) is provided that comprises a hair-removal device (12) with a movable hair-removal component (14) which comprises at least a first hair-contacting member (36) and a second hair-contacting member (36) which are movable relative to each other and which are configured and arranged to mutually co-operate for removing hairs by mutually exerting a contact force, a pressing component (40) configured and arranged to generate said contact force by exerting a pressing force (20) on the movable hair-removal component during operation, a skin proximity sensing component (16), and a force adjusting component (18). The skin proximity sensing component (16) is configured and arranged to detect a relative distance (22) between the movable hair-removal component (14) and a portion of the skin (24) with hairs to be removed. The force adjusting component (18) is configured and arranged to adjust, during operation, the pressing force (20) exerted by the pressing component (40) in dependence on the relative distance (22) detected by the skin proximity sensing component (16). The movable hair-removal component (14) has a functional mode wherein the contact force has a first value and a non-functional mode wherein the contact force has a second value smaller than the first value. The force adjusting component (18) is configured and arranged to adjust the pressing force (20) exerted by the pressing component (40) such that, when the relative distance (22) detected by the skin proximity sensing component (16) is a first relative distance (26), the movable hair-removal component (14) operates in the non-functional mode and, when the relative distance (22) detected by the skin proximity sensing component (16) is a second relative distance (28) smaller than the first relative distance (26), the movable hair-removal component (14) operates in the functional mode.

摘要： The invention relates to a motor-driven epilation head for an epilation device for plucking hairs of the human skin. Specifically, the invention relates to an epilation head having a rotation cylinder that can be rotated about a rotation axis and includes a plurality of plucking units for capturing and plucking the hairs. Each plucking unit comprises a first clamping element, a second clamping element and a third clamping element. The first clamping element together with the second clamping element forms a first closeable plucking gap and the second clamping element together with the third clamping element forms a second closeable plucking gap. The first and the second clamping elements are movably mounted and can be jointly actuated by means of an actuation element in order to close the first and the second plucking gap. The first and the second clamping elements move in the same direction.

摘要： An attachment for an epilator or an epilator having at least a clamping unit for clamping and plucking hairs that is arranged for driven movement relative to a housing along a hair capture direction is disclosed. The clamping unit has a moveable clamping element having a clamping surface and a hair guiding surface and a fixed clamping element having a clamping surface and a hair guiding surfaced. The moveable clamping element and the fixed clamping element are arranged to be cyclically moveable between an open position in which the two clamping surfaces have a minimal distance such that a gap for receiving hairs is formed between them and a closed position in which the two clamping surfaces abut on each other. The two hair guiding surfaces form a funnel in front of the gap in the open position with respect to the hair capture direction.

摘要： The present invention is a hybrid epilator device comprising an epilation unit for gripping and plucking hairs from a skin surface and at least one razor blade edge to shave off hairs growing on the skin surface. The blade edge defines a use direction along which it is effectuated that hairs are shaved off when the razor blade is drawn over the skin surface during operation. The razor blade is arranged behind the epilation unit with respect to the use direction. The epilation unit and the razor blade are mounted for simultaneous contact with the skin surface, where during operation the epilation unit grips and plucks out hairs from the skin surface and subsequently the razor blade shaves off remaining hairs growing on the same skin surface in a single stroke.
