摘要： An improved coffee making machine is shown which includes a coffee brewing base having a central warmer and a tower portion for dispensing brewed coffee through a filter and into a decanter located on the central warmer. A power source provides electrical power to the base and to the tower portion and to the central warmer. One or more retractable cup/decanter warmers are movable between a closed position totally concealed within the base and a warming position which is visible and extended from the base. Each retractable cup/decanter warmer can be securely locked into position in the warming position, which then allows a heating element located on the warmer to engage with the power source to provide heating to a cup or decanter of coffee.

摘要： An improved coffee brewer is provided for rapid and consistent high quality brewing of coffee. The coffee brewer includes a control panel for initiating a brew cycle wherein a metered volume of hot water is delivered from an insulated water reservoir via a spray head to mix with coffee grounds contained within a filter-lined brew basket, with the resultant brewed coffee draining into an underlying pot preferably such as an insulated carafe. The control panel is further operable for precision calibration of the metered water volume delivered to the brew basket for each brew cycle. In addition, the coffee brewer incorporates a removable rail unit for supporting the brew basket, wherein the rail unit and spray head are removable quickly and easily disassembled for periodic cleaning.

摘要： Regarding a base construction comprising a hot plate for a coffee-making apparatus of the type designed to have water brought to a boil in a closed container (1), whereupon the water is pressed through a riser pipe (12) into an open container (6), where boiling water extracts aromas and flavor from the ground coffee, whereupon the finished coffee beverage is filtered back into the closed container (1) through a filter placed at the outlet of the open container, the objective is to provide a sealed base construction which comprises a hot plate for a coffee-making apparatus where the hot plate does not suddenly boil dry, while the finished coffee beverage is carefully treated. Moreover, a reliable sealing of the hot plate must be provided, using simple means and without the use of tools. According to the principles of the present invention, this objective is met by placing the hot plate and the inside bottom of the closed container in a position where the normal of the hot plate and/or the inside bottom is at no point vertical during boiling.

摘要： A machine for brewing coffee or other hot beverages has a hollow base which is open at the underside and has a top portion provided with an opening for a warming plate. The warming plate is assembled with a ring-shaped insulator, an electric heater and a bridge into a unit which is thereupon inserted into the base by way of the open underside before the underside is closed by a detachable bottom. The bridge biases the heater against the warming plate, and its ends are received in openings of the insulator. The central section of the bridge has elastic fingers which engage the toothed peripheral surface of a post at the underside of the warming plate to ensure that the bias of the bridge upon the heater remains unchanged. The base has integral coupling members which extend into openings of the insulator, and the latter has prong-like detent members which engage the marginal portion of the warming plate.
