    摘要： A vacuum cleaner with a vacuum unit and a wand assembly. The vacuum unit has a vacuum unit inlet. The wand assembly has a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The rigid portion has proximal and distal wand ends, and is reconfigurable between a condition in which the proximal wand end is rigidly connected to the vacuum unit inlet, and a condition in which the proximal wand end is movable relative to the vacuum unit inlet. The flexible portion has a proximal hose end to connect to the vacuum unit inlet, a distal hose end configured to fit inside the rigid portion, and a flexible hose between the hose ends. The hose is movable between a condition in which the hose is entirely inside the rigid portion, and a condition in which at least a portion of the hose adjacent the proximal hose end extends outside the rigid portion.

    摘要： A brush vacuum cleaner having a brush set facing the floor with a driven brush roller, wherein the brush set can be connected via a pivotable connecting element in the form of a connecting piece for a filter housing attachable to a handle having a hand grip. The brush set accommodates an electric motor for a suction fan and for the drive of the brush roller. An electrical switch is provided for switching the electric motor on and off which is disposed on the side wall as a lateral flank of the brush set in the form of a foot operated switch. The switch with its external control surface projects outwards with respect to the side wall in the switched-off position whereas in the switched-on position the control surface ends with neighbouring or adjacent surface sections of the side wall without overhang.

    摘要： A subassembly for use in a vacuum inlet valve assembly for a central vacuum system, the subassembly having a valve body with a wiring compartment and at least one press connection detent means and a reversible mounting flange for connecting to the valve body. The mounting flange includes an attachment portion, a mounting flange wall sized and shaped to cover an open side of wiring compartment and press catch connection elements sized and shaped to interact with the detent to secure the mounting flange to the valve body. Also disclosed is a vacuum inlet valve assembly comprising the above subassembly in combination with a cover plate having a rectangular door, a hinge located on a long side of the rectangular door, and a face plate with a vacuum connection opening. In an alternate embodiment the valve body includes a perimeter wall, attachment openings internal but adjacent to said perimeter wall and a snap fit cover to close an open wall of a wiring compartment.

    摘要： A vacuum cleaner lint brush accessory system having a lint brush and cradle. The lint brush has longitudinally opposed handle and brush portions. The brush portion has a brush material adapted to remove fibrous substances from a surface to be cleaned. The cradle has a chamber opening leading to a chamber. The chamber extends in the longitudinal direction and is adapted to longitudinally receive at least the brush portion of the lint brush, the chamber has at least one brush cleaning pad adapted to engage the brush material and remove the fibrous substances from the brush material. The chamber further includes an air outlet spaced from the chamber opening. The air outlet is selectively connectable to a vacuum passage of a vacuum cleaner.
