摘要： Synergistic anti-adipogenic and pro-lipolytic compositions for the prevention and amelioration of adipogenesis and lipolysis mediated diseases, comprising at least two extracts selected from enriched demethylated curcuminoids obtained from Curcuma longa, Moringa oleifera and Murraya koenigii. The anti-adipogenic and pro-lipolytic compositions optionally contain one or more anti-obesic agents. These compositions are useful for preventing anti-inflammatory and free radical mediated diseases.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for fermenting natural products with salt and fermented extracts prepared thereby. The method comprises: adding a predetermined amount of salt to at least one of natural products, including medicinal herbs and cereals; naturally fermenting the salted material; and extracting the fermented salted material with a solvent. Accordingly, the method can prevent the growth of various bacteria, including putrefactive bacteria, E. coli and anaerobic bacteria, which are harmful to the human body, in the natural product, and it also can prevent the generation of bed smells in the natural product. The fermented extract prepared by the method has fewer side effects and is safer than fermented extracts prepared by conventional fermentation methods.

摘要： Herbal compositions having anti-adipocyte fatty acid-binding protein (aP2), anti-5-lipoxygenase-activating protein (FLAP) and anti-Cysteinyl Leukotriene (CysLT)-1 receptor expression activity contain an extract of Boswellia serrata. More particularly, these herbal compositions comprise an effective amount of an enriched Boswellia extract containing from 10% to 99% by weight of 3-0-acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid; and an effective amount of a second extract selected from the group consisting of an extract of Aegle marmelos, an extract of Zingiber officinale, an extract of Garcinia mangostana, and mixtures thereof. These may be used in dietary supplements or pharmaceutical formulations for controlling diseases associated with or related to inflammation. These diseases in particular include respiratory disorders such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, hay fever, type-1 hypersensitivity and mild allergies. The compositions can also be useful for skin care.
