    摘要： An open roof construction for a vehicle includes a closure element supported by an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism comprises a driving slide, slidably guided in a guide rail, a front support attached to the closure element and guided by the guide rail, a support member which is slidably connected to the closure element, and a curve part on the stationary part including a guide track having a vertical component and extending rearwardly beyond a rear edge of the roof opening. The guide rail, driving slide, connecting element, support member and curve part on the stationary part are positioned outside the seal between the closure element and the stationary part. The connecting element is connected to the driving slide and support member in a manner such that it is movable at least partly in substantially vertical direction with respect to the guide rail.

    摘要： A sliding roof system is shown having a pair of guide rails, a slide in each guide rail, the slide being displaceably mounted therein, a functional component which is displaceably received in the guide rail and can be fixed in a raised position by means of a latching hook, the latching hook being shiftable between a release position and a latching position, the latching hook when in the latching position engaging in an opening of the guide rail, and a cover which can be opened from a closed position by displacement of the slide, a retaining lever being provided which can mechanically hold the latching hook in the latching position, wherein the retaining lever is adapted to be pivoted about a pivot pin between the release position and the retaining position.

    摘要： A vehicle closure assembly includes a vehicle body defining an opening, a latch assembly mounted to the vehicle body, a track mounted to the vehicle body, a slidable closure movable with respect to the vehicle body for selectively covering the opening, and a roller and striker assembly connected with the slidable closure for movement with the slidable closure. The roller and striker assembly includes a roller riding on the track and a striker for cooperating with the latch assembly. The roller moves with respect to the track to allow the slidable closure to move with respect to the vehicle body. The striker engages with the latch assembly to preclude movement of the slidable closure with respect to the vehicle body.

    摘要： A vehicle opening roof comprises a frame which surrounds a longitudinal opening in the roof of a vehicle and a panel assembly which is guided between spaced parallel guide rails forming the side members of the frame. A transverse mounting member is slidably guided between the guide rails and incorporates a handle-operated locking mechanism for engagement with a front rail at the front end of the frame to lock the panel assembly in the closed position. The mounting member also incorporates a first bracket for connection to a rigid panel, a second bracket for connection to a rigid flap at the forward end of a flexible covering, and a transmission mechanism for connection to the flap and operable in synchronism with the handle-operated locking mechanism to draw the flap down into engagement with the roof at the front end of the opening.
