Abstract:
A spiral part used as a tamper evident feature an a peal reclose label. The spiral is formed on a pressure sensitive adhesive label, and the spiral is unraveled in order to open the package. Once unraveled, it is difficult to reclose the package with the spiral in its original place. In one embodiment, there is a special color to the label, so that once the package is opened, it can be seen.
Abstract:
A packaged product is provided. The packaged product includes a package and a magnet fixedly disposed within the package. The packaged product also includes an electrically powered device disposed in the package. The device includes a magnetic switch disposed in close proximity to the magnet such that the magnet actuates the magnetic switch. The device operates in a test mode when the magnet is in close proximity to the magnetic switch and operates in a normal use mode when the device is removed from the package such that the magnet is no longer in close proximity to the magnetic switch.
Abstract:
A visualization device for use with a loading tray includes a frame comprising a floor, a first side wall extending generally perpendicular from the floor, and a second side wall extending generally perpendicular from the floor and spaced from the first side wall. The visualization device further includes a mirror abutting the floor of the frame. A magnifying glass may also be supported by top edges of the first and second side walls, or by runners coupled to the top edges of the first and second side walls. The visualization device may be slideably disposed in a reservoir of a loading tray.
Abstract:
A product package includes a generally flat hang card with an enclosed product chamber and at least one lateral edge with a two dimensional profile cut pattern of a product in the package which enables a prospective customer the opportunity to compare the profile of a sample product to determine the compatibility of the sample with the packaged product or to confirm the content of the package without opening the package.
Abstract:
A new package for storing bulky articles formed from a bag and a housing portion. The bag sealed is together at a pair of side edges and has a base portion and a top portion. The bag has a depth and a first width at the base portion forming a cavity in the base portion. The housing portion is stored within the cavity formed by the base portion of the bag, the housing portion having a base panel, a front panel, a back panel, a first side and a second side. Both the first side and second side are formed from a first side portion and a second side portion. The first side portion overlaps the second side portion and is adapted to move relative to the second side portion to enable a change in a depth of the housing portion.
Abstract:
A package for receiving a vial may include an inner portion folded into a first shape configured to receive the vial; an outer portion folded into a second shape configured to removably receive the first shape of the inner portion; and an identifying mark or label disposed on the inner portion and viewable when the inner portion is disposed within the outer portion. The inner portion may include top, bottom, and first and second side portions that define a first aperture configured to receive the vial, and a top flap securable to the top or first or second side portions so as to retain the vial within the first aperture. A second aperture defined in the top flap may permit access to contents of the vial without removing the vial from the inner portion, e.g., may have a diameter selected to permit the vial top to protrude therethrough.
Abstract:
Packaging for electrical equipment is disclosed in which metal electrically conductive staples are stapled—in contrast to tacked—through the packaging to provide an electrical path between the inside and the outside of the packaging. On the inside of the packaging, each staple clutches and is electrically connected to a wire that is connected to a jack on the electrical equipment. This provides an electrical path between the outside of the packaging and the electrical equipment. When the electrical equipment is to be tested or configured, the testing tool is connected to the staples on the outside of the packaging with spring-load clips. This provides as many electrical paths between the testing tool and the electrical equipment as necessary or desirable and for very little cost.
Abstract:
An electronic device accessories packaging system and methods of manufacturing, distributing and retailing the electronic device accessories packaging are disclosed.
Abstract:
A packaging includes a first section comprising an upper section configured to secure an upper portion of a writing instrument within the packaging; a lower section configured to secure a writing end of the writing instrument within the packaging; and an intermediate section configured to allow a user to grasp entirely a middle portion of the writing instrument; and a second section configured to secure at least one additional writing instrument, wherein the first section is adjacent to the second section.
Abstract:
A blister package (12) of transparent plastics material having an actuation portion (18), an electrical device such as a flashlight (14) with a slider switch (32) disposed at least partially within the package, the device including a battery power source (22) and an activatable component such as a LED or light; and a package switch (46) with actuation element (66) having an activation condition and a deactivation condition and being changeable from its deactivation condition to its activation condition. The package and device combination being configured for the power source to form part of a closed electrical circuit with, and to activate, the activatable component when the package switch is in its activation condition, and for the circuit to be open once the package switch has changed to its deactivation condition. The consumer can test the operation of the packaged flashlight by operating the switch (46) to illuminate either the LED (24) or the fluorescent tube (26).
