Abstract: A method and apparatus for a horticultural light system for use in a greenhouse where aspects of ambient light in the greenhouse are measured and compared against a prescribed light recipe. A light controller commands a light fixture contained within the greenhouse to augment the ambient light in response to the comparison. Photosynthetic photon flux, light intensity, color temperature and color spectrum among other aspects of light generated by the light fixture are altered by the controller to fill in deficiencies of the ambient light as compared to the prescribed light recipe.

Abstract: A lighting apparatus with an image-projecting function that is convenient for a user is provided. It includes: an illuminating unit that emits illumination light; a projection-type image display unit that emits image-projecting emission light for projecting an image; and a sensor that emits operation-detecting light for operation detection and that is capable of detecting an operation by an operation object in a range including an image projection area of the projection-type image display unit, and is configured so that the image-projecting light, and the operation-detecting emission light have respective different wavelength distribution characteristics, and regarding a light amount in the wavelength range of light used by the sensor for the operation detection, a light amount of the operation-detecting light is the largest among those of the illumination light, the image-projecting emission light, and the operation-detecting light.

Abstract: An embodiment discloses a lighting module. The lighting module disclosed in an embodiment comprises: a light emitting module having a printed circuit board and a plurality of light emitting devices; and a cover having a cover body disposed on the printed circuit board and a plurality of lens portions disposed on the light emitting devices. The plurality of lens portions include a concave recess, an incident surface around the recess and an output surface having a convex curved surface, wherein an interval in a first axial direction are arranged more narrowly than an interval in a second axial direction. Two or more of the light emitting devices disposed in the respective lens portion are arranged in the first axial direction. A bottom of the recess has a longer length in the first axial direction than in the second axial direction with reference to the bottom centre of the recess; and the incident surface of the lens portions has a longer length in the first axial direction than in the second axial direction, has a convex curved surface in the first axial direction, and includes a concave part in which a curved surface in the second axial direction is depressed towards the recess.

Abstract: An LED tube lamp comprises a lamp tube, two end caps attached at two ends of the lamp tube respectively, a power supply disposed in one of the two end caps or separately in both of the end caps, an LED light strip disposed inside the lamp tube and a protective layer disposed on the LED light strip. The LED light strip comprises a mounting region and a connecting region. The plurality of LED light sources is mounted on the mounting region and two soldering pads are disposed on the connecting region. The mounting region and the connecting region are electrically connecting the plurality of LED light sources with the power supply. The protective layer comprises a plurality of first openings arranged on the mounting region for accommodating the LED light sources and two second openings are arranged on the connecting region for accommodating the two soldering pad.

Abstract: A light control and data interface module (LCDIM) is used to control an LED based illumination device. The LCDIM includes a transceiver that receives communication signals from one or more sensor modules. The signals may include an indication of an identity of the one or more sensor modules and elapsed time since a triggering event was detected. One or more processors are configured to receive the communication signal and to determine a delay time to trigger a lighting control response. The one or more processors are further configured to cause the transmission of a command signal to a power converter coupled to the LCDIM to implement the lighting control response.
