    摘要: An electric strike according to the present invention comprises a housing, and an actuator mounted to the housing to switch operation of said strike between open and locked modes. In changing the modes the actuator provides lateral motion and a blocking element is included that is also mounted to the housing and cooperates with the actuator. The actuator's lateral motion causes rotational movement in the blocking element to switch between said open and locked modes. Different embodiments of the present invention can operate as dual mode electric strikes wherein the actuator is movable between fail-safe and fail-secure positions, and can include switches and paddles to monitor the position or condition of certain mechanisms in or working with the strikes. In some embodiments the blocking element can be rotatably mounted to the housing at a plurality of rotation mounting points and can comprise a plurality of blocking surfaces. In other embodiments, at least one of the one or more blocking surfaces having a pre-load movement mechanism to reduce friction with the keeper.

    摘要: An electric strike which provides vertical adjustability of the position of the strike relative to the latch bolt in the closure with modification to the doorframe on the dust box. A ramp element in the strike housing is adjustable relative to the strike and is securable at the time of installation to align the center of the latch bolt and strike. The ramp element has a channel to allow entry and exit of a latch bolt having a dead latch. A keeper engages the dead latch and maintains it in a retracted position when the closure is locked and is released when the electric latch solenoid is energized.

The switchover means has a blocking cross section facing the armature, and an adjacent release cross section recessed behind the blocking cross section. The armature has a plate-like design and a blocking recess in the central section merging with a slot-like release recess in the end section averted from the second bearing, the blocking cross section corresponding to the blocking recess and the release cross section corresponding to the release recess. The vertical distance between the first and second bearings is variable.

The latch has a latch face and a segment that projects laterally of both the latch axis and the latch face. A locking element is mounted for rotation about a lock axis normal to but offset from the latch axis for selectively blocking the laterally projecting segment to hold the latch in the locking position or allowing the latch to move to the open position to thereby place the lock respectively in a locked condition or an unlocked condition. An electrically powered driver is disposed within the housing laterally of the latch axis actuable in a direction generally parallel to the latch axis for effecting rotation of the locking element.

    摘要: The invention concerns a locking/unlocking device for a swivel latch of a door opener with a locking lever, that locks or unlocks the swivel latch, and a safety lock that holds the locking lever in a locking position and can be swiveled with the help of an electromagnet in a position unlocking the locking lever, wherein the safety lever is positioned in its center of gravity. Thus only one safety lever is required for the impact safety of the door opener, the susceptibility to shocks and vibrations can be reduced and a space-saving arrangement can be achieved. In a preferred form of execution, the safety lever has two arms wherein the electromagnet is in active connection with one lever arm and a compression spring is in active connection with the other lever arm. An installation jig used to form an aperture in the door frame and a cavity in the underlying stud in which the door strike is mounted. A remote control circuit transmitter actuates the door strike to an unlatched position and a time delay circuit returns the door strike to a latched position after a predetermined delay time period. The transmitter can be used to interrupt the predetermined delay time period and immediately return the door strike to the latched position.
