    摘要: The present invention provides a semiconductor-type light source 2, a lens 35, a heat sink member 4, a light control member 6, a driving member 7, and a cover member 8. The cover member 8 is fixed to a fixing surface of the heat sink member 4 such a manner as to be integrated with the semiconductor-type light source 2. The light control member 6 is mounted to the cover member 8 in such a manner as to be changeably movable between a first location and a second location. As a result, the present invention is capable of reducing dispersion in relative position between the semiconductor-type light source 2 and the light control member 6, and reducing dispersion between a light distribution pattern for low beam LP and a light distribution pattern for high beam HP.

    摘要: A headlight for vehicles, having a reflector, a light source unit which is functionally assigned to the reflector, a lens placed in front of the light source unit in the primary beam direction, and an aperture device arranged between the light source unit and the lens. The aperture device is positioned in a focal point region of the lens and has an aperture edge which runs perpendicular to the optical axis for the purpose of generating a light/dark boundary for a prespecified light distribution. The light source unit has a plurality of light sources separated spatially from each other, such that light can be emitted from an illumination surface. The aperture edge transitions into a correction edge from a central region of the aperture device towards opposite ends of the same. The correction edge runs in such a manner that an optical lens aberration resulting from the light source unit being constructed as an illumination surface is compensated.

    摘要: A headlamp developed especially for motor vehicles based on the exact adjustment of the height of the light plane by total concealing the light source and all direct and indirect reflecting surfaces and by using the principle of the half-lens illumination described in this invention. The most preferred embodiment of this invention consists of a single standard light source (1), a reflector group of three units (2,3; 12,13; 22,23) forming a structure similar to a clover-leaf with each unit having its own light pathway, three plano-convex lenses (27,7,17), three flat mirrors (25,5,15), three movable semi-shutters (26,6,16) covering the upper halves of the plano-convex lenses, with the addition of a shield (9) and a reflective surface in the forward-looking part of this embodiment. The basic illumination principle defined above may be applied to headlamp designs with a single or multiple reflectors, or without a lens in the headlamp structure, and without any limitation in the number or direction of the reflectors.

    摘要: An automotive headlamp assembly comprises a reflector positioned within a housing. The reflector defines a lamp cavity where a light source is positioned. The reflector includes a first portion designed to reflect light in a low beam pattern and a second portion designed to reflect light in a high beam pattern. An actuator is also positioned within the lamp cavity. The actuator is operable to move a light shield in a linear direction parallel to the optical axis of the reflector. In particular, the actuator is operable to move the light shield between a low beam position that exposes the light source to the first portion of the reflector and a high beam position that exposes the light source to both the first portion and the second portion of the reflector.
