The system may include a lighting system with interior and/or exterior lights with adjustable diffusers. An interior light may be used as a task light, a cabin light, a sensor indicator light, or a trim light. Adjustments to the adjustable diffusers can be used to adjust the angular spread of emitted light for operation in different lighting modes.

摘要: A rectifying circuit is provided, which includes a first channel circuit, a comparator circuit, and a second channel circuit. The first channel circuit rectifies a first input signal using a transistor that is coupled between an input of the first channel circuit and a node. The comparator circuit is coupled with the transistor and controls it based on a difference between a representative voltage of the first input signal and a representative voltage of the node. The second channel circuit rectifies a second input signal using a diode coupled between an input of the second channel circuit and the node. The transistor may be a first MOSFET and the comparator circuit may be coupled with the first MOSFET by way of a second MOSFET. The second MOSFET controls the first MOSFET and is itself controlled by the comparator circuit.

摘要: Improved light emitting diode (LED) vehicle headlamps having a dedicated daytime running lamp (DRL) component are described. In various embodiments, a combination Low Beam/DRL headlamp is provided, which uses pulse width modulation (PWM) detection to determine which of the two internal LED light sources (Low Beam or DRL) is powered on. If the Low Beam/DRL headlamp detects a PWM signal on the Low Beam voltage input then it switches to drive the DRL LEDs. If, alternatively, it detects a steady state input voltage then it switches to drive the Low Beam LEDs.

The light emitted by the plurality of light sources (3) has directional components in two opposite horizontal directions (H1, H2) along the horizontal axis (A) and a directional component in a vertical direction (V) perpendicular to the horizontal axis (A). The reflective surface (5) has a curvature such that the directional component in the vertical direction (V) is directed towards the general direction (I) of illumination, and the directional component in at least one of the horizontal directions (H1, H2) upon reflection in the reflective surface (5) is substantially unchanged by the reflection.

摘要: Lamp assemblies, motorized vehicles with lamp assemblies, and methods of constructing and methods of using lamp assemblies are disclosed. A lamp assembly is disclosed that includes a lamp housing that is configured to attach to a motor vehicle's front-end or rear-end vehicle structure. A transparent lens is attached to the lamp housing. The lamp assembly also includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED) panel with a transmissive substrate layer that is attached to the lamp housing. An electroluminescent layer, which generates light in response to an electric signal, is coupled to the transmissive substrate layer. The electroluminescent layer is configured to selectively emit light through the lens. A light source is also attached to the lamp housing and is configured to emit light through the OLED panel and out through the lens.
