Abstract:
A fluid visual inspection device includes a fluid visual inspection portion and one set of fastening caps. The fluid visual inspection portion includes a vane holder which has a first flange and second flange, and is coupled with a transparent duct to allow users to see vane conditions and judge whether fluid is flowing. The vane holder further has a third flange and fourth flange that have respectively an external threaded portion formed thereon screwing with the fastening caps. One end of the vane holder holds a partition to form a passage opening. Each fastening cap has one end fastened to the third or fourth flange and another end screwed with a fluid pipe. The fastening caps and the duct are not integrally formed, hence fabrication is simpler and the cost is lower and production time is shorter, and coupling of the device and fluid pipe also is easier.
Abstract:
A novel in-line flow indicator assembly is provided with a fitting body having oppositely positioned wall window openings, a sight glass tube positioned within the fitting body, end caps co-operating with the fitting body to contain the sight glass tube in position, and conventional O-rings that function to seal the assembly through fluid passageway and to resiliently position the sight glass tube within the fitting body.
Abstract:
A fuel flow indicator for use in a nozzle of a fuel dispensing system. A small percentage of the fuel flowing through the nozzle is diverted to a chamber and used to power rotation of a light deflecting member which is viewable to the user through a glass plate installed on the fuel dispensing nozzle.
Abstract:
A sight flow indication apparatus with multi-sealing protective arrangements includes: an upper and a lower flange coupling member, each member having a stuffing box formed therein; a first and a second gland member each having a gland pipe portion formed in conjunction with the stuffing boxes; a transparent sight flow tube, the periphery of which has a layer of a thin film of a transparent protective material disposed thereon, tightly secured in the stuffing boxes between the upper and lower flange coupling members through the first and second gland members and a plurality of gasket members; and a plurality of gland packing members respectively disposed in the stuffing boxes in connection with the first and second gland members and the transparent sight flow tube; whereby, when the first and second gland members and the transparent sight flow tube are tightly fastened between the upper and lower flange coupling members, effective means of sealing protection are achieved accordingly.
Abstract:
A sight flow indicator for visually indicating fluid flow through a conduit including a housing that has an inlet and an outlet and defines a flow passage between the two, the flow passage including a sighting region and a downstream restricted region that has a smaller flow area than said sighting region, a window in the housing providing viewing of the sighting region, and an elongated member that is located in the sighting region that is too long to move from the sighting region into the restricted region and is sufficiently smaller than the sighting region so as to be capable of vibrating about in the sighting region in response to flow of fluid therethrough.
