    摘要: A process for forming an image which comprises heating a light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least a light-sensitive silver halide, a binder and a dye-releasing redox compound which is reductive to the light-sensitive silver halide and which is capable of releasing a hydrophilic dye upon reaction with the light-sensitive silver halide on heating, after imagewise exposure or simultaneously with imagewise exposure, in a substantially water-free condition the dye-releasing redox compound being represented by the formula (I) wherein R represents a phenyl group having a hydroxy-substituted alkoxy group or an alkoxy-substituted alkoxy group at at least the 2-position thereof with respect to the diazo group and a group of the formula --SO.sub.2 NH--Y at the 5-position thereof with respect to the diazo group where Y represents a group capable of being oxidized silver halide to release a dye moiety including the --SO.sub.2 NH moiety.

    摘要: A heat-developable diffusion transfer color photographic material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a heat-developable color photographic element containing at least a light-sensitive silver halide, an organic silver salt oxidizing agent and a color image forming substance and an image receiving element capable of accepting a dye which is formed or released in the heat-developable color photographic element, the heat-developable color photographic element and the image receiving element being provided on the same support or being provided on different supports respectively, and either one of these elements or both of these elements contain a microcapsule comprising a water-immiscible compound which is liquid at a temperature of not less than 120.degree. C. as a core material and a water-insoluble polymer wall.The heat-developable diffusion transfer color photographic material contains a diffusion accelerator for the dye in the microcapsule and can easily provide a transferred color image without adversely affecting the coating property and physical property of the light-sensitive element.A process for forming a color image using the heat-developable diffusion transfer color photographic material is also disclosed.

    摘要: There are described color-providing compounds having at least two cyclic 1,3-sulfur-nitrogen moieties and one complete dye or dye intermediate. The color-providing compound is stable in the photographic processing composition but capable of undergoing cleavage in the presence of an imagewise distribution of silver ions and/or soluble silver complex made available as a function of development to liberate a complete dye or dye intermediate in an imagewise distribution corresponding to that of the silver ion and/or the soluble silver complex. The color-providing compounds are useful as image-forming materials in color photographic, photothermographic, thermographic, and other processes.

    摘要: There are described heat-developable photosensitive image-recording materials which include a compound having at least one cyclic 1,3-sulfur-oxygen moiety.     摘要: A heat-developable color light-sensitive material is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon at least one layer containing a light-sensitive silver halide, a binder, a compound containing a color moiety represented by formula (A), and a compound or a precursor thereof which reacts with an oxidized compound formed from the compound of formula (A), thereby converting the oxidized compound into a nondiffusible form, said compound of formula (A) being represented by ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an acylamino group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, or a halogen atom, provided that at least one of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom; X represents a chemical bond or a divalent linking group; Dye represents an image-forming dye moiety; and G represents a hydroxyl group or a group capable of forming a hydroxyl group upon heating and/or by the action of a base.The material provides an image having a low minimum density in highlight areas, and excellent color separation and image preservability.

    摘要: A method of forming a color diffusion transfer image by heat development is disclosed. This method comprises effecting imagewise exposure of a thermally developable photosensitive material containing an organosilver salt and a thermally non-diffusing color providing material capable of releasing a chelatable diffusing dye upon heat development, thermally developing the exposed photosensitive material to form an imagewise pattern of the chelatable dye from said color providing material, and diffusing and transferring at least part of said imagewise pattern into an image-receiving layer containing a polyvalent metallic ion that is superimposed on the photosensitive material, thereby forming on the image-receiving layer an imagewise pattern of the dye that has chelated with the polyvalent metallic ion.
