The transformer assembly includes a coil winding, a multi-contact tap arrangement connected to the coil winding, and a multifurcated tap changer system that includes a first tap changer having a contactor element which makes contact with a first contact of the multi-contact tap arrangement when the controller provides a positioning stimulus based on sensing a voltage deviation from a nominal output voltage of the voltage regulator system. The multifurcated tap changer system further includes a second tap changer that is mechanically ganged to the first tap changer and includes another contactor element arranged to automatically make contact with a second contact of the multi-contact tap arrangement when the contactor element of the first tap changer makes contact with the first contact of the multi-contact tap arrangement.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for regulating the voltage of a transformer (1) having different winding taps (3). The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a method with which different load flow directions can be regulated with conventional transformers (1) and voltage regulators (7) in order to ensure a safe and reliable supply of voltage. The general inventive concept consists in determining, using a method in which a quadrant system (11) is used, the phase angle of the conduction current (I) and thus the load flow direction, thereby preventing deviation from the voltage range as a result of power input that is too high, by controlling the load tap changer (4).

    摘要: The invention relates to an arrangement for automatically influencing a mains supply. A voltage transformer is provided as a pilot transformer which detects the real value of the voltage which is to be adjusted and which transmits said value to a motor drive via an individual electric measuring circuit in which means are provided for comparing said real value to a set point value and for producing an adjustment command which is dependent upon said comparison. The invention also relates to a correspondingly equipped motor drive provided with an additional control module which directly actuates an electric motor independently from the direction of rotation when required. Said electric motor drives a step-switching mechanism on the variable-voltage transformer, whereby the voltage is adjusted, thereby influencing the mains supply.

    摘要: A load tap changer (LTC) having a plurality of windings is coupled to one of the primary and secondary windings of a power transformer in order to regulate the output voltage of the power transformer. The LTC includes a plurality of taps physically and electrically connected to the LTC windings and the transformer's output voltage is increased/decreased by moving along the taps a contacting element whose movement is controlled by a rotating shaft driven by a motor. The tap being contacted is determined by sensing the direction and number of shaft rotations and by checking the number of shaft rotations specified to go from a tap to the next tap being contacted. The time for a full rotation of the shaft is also measured. Also, the temperature of the tanks containing the LTC taps and the power transformer is measured for each tap position.
